For a Packer and Favre hater, nothing I could have ever dreamed up could be better than this. Packer nation is divided and they're tearing each other up. Favre's "will he - won't he" routine has Bears fans everywhere smiling. Frankly, you couldn't write this script any better. The Packers couldn't have handled this more poorly. First I'll reiterate what Crackerdog has said: Training camp's awesome because you're able to get so close to the players, practice, etc. Got autographs from Gould, McGowan, Rashied Davis, Zack Bowman, Kevin Payne, AND even Jerry Angelo. The Bears Core is looking pretty good, as long a players develop JA will keep this team in good shape. Players in RED are ones that JA will have to decide on extending Players in GREEN are players if they step up big, can get rewarded early. The way I see it coming, the Bears will be working on extending Mike Brown if he stays healthy and Brandon McGowan if he produces. Grossman will get franchised only if he produces just to see if he can do it again. If Kevin Jones produces, he'll command a high salary and I just can't see the Bears giving it to him. Hester didn't show up to TC today. (neither did Tillman, Kreutz, Dvoracek, and another player, but that's for another thread at another time). Thoughts??

Metcalf has knee problem Vaughn McClure, 12:22 p.m. Terrence Metcalf emerged from the dining room with a sleeve protecting his right knee. The left guard said he had the knee drained Friday after it swelled, and he's not sure how the injury occurred. "It's no big thing," he said. He expects to play in Thursday's exhibition against the Chiefs. And he expects to start if he does play. "Heck yeah, I'll be running with the first team," he said. Metcalf has yet to be cleared for Monday night's practice. Josh Beekman has been working at left guard in his place.

Im going to list divisions one by one every few days and when the season starts, throw them in the archive so we can see how everyone did. AFC North Pittsburgh Steelers 10-6 The Steelers will win the division and be the only playoff team in it. Losing Faneca will hurt their running game, especially Mendenhall who will be primarily used to run up the middle. Fast Willie and Big Ben will put up similar numbers to last season. apparently Brett Favre will be reinstated tomorrow and is in camp and will compete for the starting job with Rodgers. LOL Rodgers can't catch a break. Anyone heard anything more about Kevin Jones? I know he was on the PUP list. So is that meaning he will be out until regular season or???? OUCH!! Bet he's glad those days are over.

Our special teams will be better this and be on top of the NFL once again. Sure we have a few holes to fill but that simple with all the players we have ready to step up. Gould is kicking the ball off well and they are going deep into the end zone. He has also made a 67 yard field goal in practice. Now if he can do this in a game then we have an added weapon. With hester changing field postion and a threat to take it all the way, making coaches not wanting to kick to him, and then you have Maynard the punter pinning the other team deep with kicks inside the 20.
