Cutler and the O did their job. The D failed us for 2 very long drives. In fact, Pepper may have caused the loss with his bonehead offsides when we had SEA at their own 10. However, Smith and Tice botching the 4th and short...was the 3 points we needed to win. Between the D and coaches...this loss is on them.

Seen a article that made many suggests on areas of need. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2693107...ee-agent-market They talk about J Gersham as a TE. I only see this happening if they feel other positions are more needy in the draft. So we would have Miller, but cant expect him to play everyday. Daniel Brown shows some development. Braunbacker still to develop. So if we add Gersham at 28 , he is a very good blocker and still have receiving skills. He wont be very expensive so I see it as a viable option. First time I ever setup a poll so if this doesn't work right I apologize. I will leave this up for a couple days to collect the votes. If there is not a clear winner (i.e. one player with 50% of the vote) I'll post a final poll with only the top two or three vote getters. From that the winner will be our draft choice. Pixote will be the honorary GM for this. He gets to vote as well but if we have a tie at the end, as GM he will make the final decision on who we draft. On draft day I'd have taken Alec Ogletree and that is where my vote is.

The Chicago Tribune is reporting that there is mutual interest between the Bears and RB Chris Brown. Brown had finished with 102 rushes for 462 yards and five touchdowns while playing behind LenDale White. He is currently visiting Houston. I am not really sure how I would feel about this if it went through. I am inclined to lean toward the draft for RB and would rather we use free agent money on an guard.

It seems that if you take Smith, you should do so knowing there is a high risk that he doesn't play or is really just building himself back in 2016. I am okay with that risk, but it would be really interesting to see what the actual quacks are looking at and see when they review these guys. Makes you further appreciate those "medical" guys who end up just falling down draft boards despite "good" reports of health.

Brian Urlacher is no longer the best LB on this team. Further, he is an embarassment to the organization in front of the camera. I've restarted the FFL2 from last year. If you were in the league last year, please register. That way we will know how many slots we have to fill for the season. Also, we can change it to a keeper league if people are interested, and the draft time can be changed if the date selected doesn't work for a bunch of people.
