Rondale Moore and Mecole Hardman visited the Bears today. I really would love a short term deal for Moore. 24 with tons of speed - coming off injury and I think in right role could thrive as a slot / take the top off guy with some gadget and special teams thrown together. Both players are speed guys. Moore was like 4.33 coming out - injuries have been a big issue with him and he missed all of last year.

I still think moving up to #10 would be enough to get one of the top 5 QBs. Will it be worth it? I think it would be if you only had to give up a 2022 2nd and a 2021 3rd (obviously including #20 in 2021). Like I said before, I think this scenario is highly likely because it essentially buys Pace/Nagy more time.

Crazy to think these are the only teams the Bears lost to (see below). The worst teams are GB and MIN that play each other tonight. So the only one team that Fields lost to will go into Week 18 under .500, and 3 of those losses were the collapses. I think we made a mistake by not resigning Hester. cutting Bennett and signing Hixon was good but we should have cut Weems and kept Hester. We could use him as the 5th WR to make the run plays that Jeffery does to limit Jeffery from getting hurt. .Think about Marshall...Jeffrey. ..Wilson...Hixon....Hester as the top five and Williams as the 6th WR/PR...you have hands...height and speed

Cap question: I'm assuming the Bears aren't going to spend more then they would normally. In other words, if the cap would have been around 120 million, we'll likely spend around 120 million. I can't see JA given an unlimited amount of money to spend. That being said, how much do the Bears have to spend based on what the cap likely would have been?

Forte now has over 8,000 rushing yards and 11,931 yards from scrimmage. The 8,071 rushing yards puts him in 48th all-time only 3 yards behind Freeman McNeil and 10 yards behind Larry Csonka. In the next few games he should also pass the likes of Maurice Jones-Drew, Priest Holmes, Gerald Riggs, Roger Craig, Herschel Walker, and Earnest Byner (some pretty good company already). After dominating the Colts in week 1, the Bears war room re-arranges its priorities. Here is my version of there draft board. My highest priorties are QB, RT, S and then G, WR. ROUND 1 - PICK 20 1-Cullen Harper QB Clemson - The Bears do need to address the QB position, so don't be suprised if they pull the trigger on Harper who can spend the 2009 season grooming behind Orton. Other considerations: Darius Heyward-Bey WR Maryland - The Bears would love to take the speedster at WR, but feel OL needs to be priortiy #1 until they are probowl caliber. With two games down, the Bears future needs may have shifted a little. Brandon McGowan once again went down and the Bears must plan to go on with out him, so finding another S has shifted up on the Bears big board. As the world knows, the Bears also need to find a QB that won't just be counted on to be a game manager, but can be relied upon to give them a chance to win a game also. The Bears also need to continue rebuilding the OL and should look at Tampa/Carolina as a model.
