There are few decent options this upcoming offseason, but the Bears will have to figure out who they want to pay. At this point the Bears need to get younger. By replacing ARob they can improve and get younger at the same time. Here are a few names that could come in and be potential WR1s if the Bears look to FA for that. Another option is to go by WR1BC and taking a lesser option assuming Fields doesn't need a true #1. 1. The rumblings around Chicago are that the Bears will look to sign a big-time back-up running back to team up with Matt Forte and LT (Cap Casualty)/Chester Taylor (UFA) are expected to be guys the Bears consider. Evidently McGahee might be joining that group and I think he could be a real nice fit if he does get cut. LT and Chester Taylor are also real nice fits. And no matter what, it seems like we have a few real good options to help improve our rushing attack (from the RB perspective).

I thought that this might be interesting. The score today during my lunch had a poll wanting to know if you would give Denver all draft picks to get him. Just so everyone is clear, we have a total of 9 draft picks however the 3 comp picks can not be traded therefore the reason I said the 6 eligible draft picks.

Not saying we do in fact sign a vet but if we did who would you want? I personally want Jones. Sure he's comming off an injury, but with the right structured contract he could be had for a bargain. The Bears have two winable games in the next two weeks with the Vikings and the Bucs. If the Bears win both games, they will have the same record they had last season at week 8. I still don't feel that all hope is lost. When Carimi comes back, Garza and Spencer fill their right positions, something could turn around for this offensive line. Go Bears? Merry Christmas, it's snowing in Chicago. We win, guarantee a lesser draft spot, but save some face by not losing to a winless team. We also go undefeated in the division (AFC North). Mr. Ohio is already 1-0 against Ohio teams. Can he make it 2-0? We lose, become "the team that lost to the Browns", maintain draft position, and guarantee Fox's fate.
