So I totally forgot about the 3rd WC slot (the same one the Bears slipped into last year). The difference this year is the 17th game. The extra game for the Bears was LVR, for the Vikings, it's the LAC. That extra game may end up being the difference in making the playoffs or not this year. At this point, if the Bears can survive to the bye, with TB, SF at home, and PIT (MNF) in the next 3, they have a much more favorable schedule down the stretch. I dont know about you guys but for me cutting R Davis and moving Bennet to his spot is a no brainer. Then you go and get Vincent Jackson and put him and DA on the outside WR spot and Hester,Knox and Bennett in the slot. We then shorten the 7 step drops to 3 with quick passes to the speedsters and make the D move back(as in the Dallas game). We then use our screen game!! We need a big WR for Cutler to throw to other than Olsen period!!!!! Moss, Jackson, anybody.

I've been thinking about how we really don't know who's running the Bears. How is NE set up, you see Kraft on game day but is he hands off? GB what's their chain of command ? Baltimore how's theirs set up? Pittsburgh , are the Rooneys hands off?

Say what you will, but not bringing back Lance, trading Marshall...all seems to spell out that they are cleaning house. I fully expect no Tillman. I also now expect Cutler to be traded. There's no certainty...but damn the evidence is pointing to fire sale. Heck, they could even deal Forte at this point too. I'm all in. I get what they are doing. If Pace & Fox are thinking this is what's best, then I'm OK with it. Fox is loaded with experiences staff members and I'm sure their input is used. Bear down. I'm excited!

Its nice to see for sure a QB that is rating above 100's for 2 games in row. today Cutler rated a whopping 126.38888. Its looking better all the time. Now the O line needs a good kick in the arse and we need to sign Brooks with Hilly out now with Ribs. We should be good to go.

It seems to me Angelo is on a mission. He has been extremely active this offseason, picking up 3 OLmen, A Pro Bowl caliber QB, tries to go after Boldin during the draft, now picks up Gaines, picked up a few other backups for DBs, and seems to have the cap space and motivation to add a few more players before the season starts. This is about as good as it gets for Bears fans. I can't wait for the next acquisition. I would not be surprised to see a few more signings before camp opens up in July.
