This is a mock looking at team needs after FA signings as of Monday. We have a good shot at either Andre Smith OT or MIchael Oher OT and then a good chance Robiskie/Nicks is available at RD2. Some guys I have higher than other mocks, but I'm thinking some teams may reach a little to fill the need. You are in the war room and Mike Adams and Michael Floyd are available at the 19th pick. What's your pick. I would take Floyd over Adams because I believe he is a higher rated prospect than Adams but Floyd can't get the ball if Cutler is on his back.

For those that are actually watching the game. A win keeps our slim playoff chances alive (winning out and having DET and DAL both go 1-3, and SF 2-2). Otherwise a loss eliminates us from the playoffs and keeps are draft position intact.

But i would not mind throwing a third rd pick at washington and try to get cousins if they don't bring cutler back.. he too has an arm, escapability, and is smart with the ball... not to mention a former spartan who isn't new to playing in cold weather...

The only center still on the roster is Ryan Bates. He has arthritis issues in his shoulder. He did stem cell therapy, the question is, did that fix it? If Poles keeps him we will know the answer to that. Bring back Shelton? I would think more for depth than as a starter. I would say one of these 2 will be back at least as a backup. Dalman is the prize and will earn 10-15 Mil. Poles could decide to bring him in instead of the big spend on Trey Smith. Sign Kevin Zeilter and could get 2 players for the same money as Smith. Reports are that starters will play, which is nice to see. Bagent and Co started with back to back 3 and outs against Miami, so I hope Caleb can lead a scoring drive and show real progress on Sunday night.

Just glad it's over. I do wonder if the league will appeal. This is, however, a real indictment of the arbitrary nature of Goodell's rulings. I believe Brady was guilty as sin but if the NFL can't convince a judge to take their side, when the Commissioner is supposed to have discretion in these matters, it speaks volumes about how shitty a job he's doing.

Detroit is essentially holding the 2nd Wild Card spot, and a win on Thursday brings us to within 1 game with 4 to play, the head-to-head tie breaker, and another game in Chicago to tie up the season record. We still have to win out to have a chance due to Seattle, SF, and Dallas, but this would be a huge win and get us to 6-6. We hold the tie breaker against SF, and with a win against Dallas (next Thursday), we would own that one too. None of this matters with a loss which would take us out of the playoff picture at 5-7. I think it's time. I wore a Butkus jersey yesterday and felt embarrassed that the team on the field was wearing the same uniform. I can't do it. I cannot tarnish the greats and the memory of Papa Bear by supporting this nonsense. This team..I will say it. ...IS NOT THE BEARS. There is nothing Bear-ish about them.
