  1. I was going to mention Toub. I felt he should have been hired instead of Trestman when Lovie was fired. I think he's more than qualified for the job. Peace

As a QB, you shouldn't have to earn protection from the NFL. The no call on the 3rd down that should have been a roughing the passer was complete BS. The league has gone out of their was to protect the QB yet shit like that happens. There is no excuse for missing that call. I continue to believe the only way to fix the officiating in the NFL is to go to younger, full-time referees. Hire college players that are not good enough to play in the NFL. Pay them 100K plus and work them year round so they can refine their craft. There should not be any PT referees. Peace
  3. Either would be fine. Time to move on. Peace
  4. Glad to hear about your wife. Sounds like she still has a long road for recovery. Wishing you and her the very best. Peace
  5. I think they take the entire 3 weeks to evaluate him before putting him on 53-man roster. We have to remember he did not have a training camp. Peace
  6. Can we cut Byrd this week and bring up Dazz Newsome? We need to give him playing time to evaluate him. Peace

Exactly. My season is basically over with now so I'm thinking of playing Fields going forward. Peace

He's killing my fantasy football team. Peace

Not interested. We don't need the headache. Peace
  10. Graham was on COVID restriction yesterday and was not available for the game. That being said, I would trade him for a future 7th round pick if I could find a taker and would be willing to eat his salary. He does nothing for us. Peace
  11. Tom Thayer said this morning on the SCORE the only untouchable should be Fields. You should at least be listening to offers for anyone else on the team . Peace
  12. He shouldn't survive that but I will continue to believe the Bears do not fire during the season until I am proven wrong. Peace
  13. Tampa takes this one fairly easy. I'm going to say 31-17. I think we bounce back, however, and win the next 2 against San Fran and Pittsburgh and go into the break 5-4. Peace
  14. I absolutely see Nagy coming back if Fields shows good improvement the rest of the year. The last thing the McCaskeys want is large change in the organization. Fields improving is an excuse to keep Nagy. Peace

Fields is definitely improving but he cannot take those sacks. Throw the ball away. Hopefully, he learns quickly. I absolutely agree on Robinson. Trade him for a 3rd or a 4th and bring up Adams. Fields and Adams developed a chemistry in camp. Let's see if the can do something with it. At this point, I would sit Jackson for a game or two to make a point to him. Play Bush or Carson. In my 19 years as a season-ticket holder, that was the absolute worst officiating I have ever seen. Forget about the blown calls, which were embarrassing enough. On at least 4 occasions it appeared they had no idea what was going on and had to huddle up for 3 to 5 minutes to figure out what to do next. I hate the officiating in the NFL - absolutely hate it. Peace
  16. Injured reserve is for a minimum of 3 weeks. My understanding is a high-ankle sprain can take 6 to 8 weeks to heal. I don't think Jenkins plays this year. Peace
  17. Read your response wrong. My bad. Peace
  18. Watched "The Closer" the other day as well. Fantastic work. Peace
  19. Freedom of speech only applies to government infringing on our speech. The NFL is a private organization. That being said, it is stupid but it was a to a point that it would damage the Raiders organization if they kept him. Peace
  20. I'm sure his resignation came after a lengthy discussion involving lawyers on how he was being paid to go away. It's not about what constitutes eligibility to be employed. He was the face of the Raiders and the owner knew that would be a huge distraction going forward. Peace
  21. This. Peace

I thought Duke Shelley had an outstanding game. He had at least 3 good solo tackles and a huge pass break up. Peace
  23. I personally have no issue with Ted Phillips managing the business aspect of the organization as long as I only hear from him when he is talking about the stadium or introducing the new president in charge of football operations. He should never, ever be involved in football operations. Get the new stadium built, Ted, and then stay the F out of football operations. Peace
  24. This has to happen. Soldier Field was outdated the moment it was finished. The Chicago Bears and their fans deserve a world-class facility. From a personal perspective, I could take the NW Metra line from Harvard right to the stadium. It would cut 30+ minutes on my commute. Make it so. Peace
  25. You can't have your #1 receiver (who wants 20 million) drop touchdown passes. The throw from Fields was perfect. A TD there changes the game completely. Peace
