  1. Listened to an interview with Rick Spielman this morning. He worked directly with Warren for years. Said the Bears have made a fantastic hire and that Warren will definitely stay in his lane letting Poles run the football side but that he would be there for him to advise and consult when necessary. Peace
  2. I don't think it will be bigger than 70K. Peace
  3. I am shocked the McCaskeys have finally done the right thing - hire an external with experience to run their organization. This is huge. https://wgntv.com/sports/bears-report/bears-will-hire-kevin-warren-as-new-team-president-reports-say/

Jones is the only player on offense that took every snap last year. He's starting at either left or right tackle for us next season. Peace
  5. Agreed 100%. It's way too early to judge. If we are at the same place at the end of next year then we have a serious problem. Peace
  6. Agreed with all of this. Peace
  7. Agreed with most everything you said. I don't want to drag him here, however, I just don't want him back in the organization. Peace
  8. I agree that Kmet performed really well this year and there is no need to draft a TE at least not at the top of the draft. I wouldn't have an issue with using a 5th round pick or lower on one. Peace
  9. Why would Eberflus want to do this? I know he knows Lovie rather well but Lovie had his job previously. To me it would be a huge distraction. Peace

I live Harvard and want them to move to AH because it's right on the NW Metra line. I am just noting this proposal came way too late. Chicago should have been proactive if they wanted to keep the Bears. Peace
  11. Let's review the offseason: - Franchise QB secured - $115 million in salary cap available - #1 pick - New President being hired (Sweaty Teddy is gone) - Finalizing purchase of land for a new stadium It's a great time to be a Bears fan!!!! Peace

Watch the whole video. It appears they would be adding capacity and a bunch of amenities. Peace

Love this. The City of Chicago should have proposed 5 to 10 years ago. Unfortunately, the horse is out of the barn. https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/chicago-football/proposed-soldier-field-dome-entertainment-district-showcased-in-developers-new-video-proposal/3039641/?_osource=SocialFlowFB_CHBrand&fbclid=IwAR2B4jCj8nXSEinJgVgG-Zb2276MfDdAK6guYpf0Gc5ItWMlxyXsmTSQfVg
  14. What are your thoughts on Skoronski? Peace
  15. 35 - 17. Peterman will have a TD pass and 3 Int, and Montgomery will have a TD in what is most likely his last game. Peace
  16. Shutting down Fields is absolutely the right thing to do. There is nothing to be gained by him playing this weekend behind that patchwork offensive line. Now the real work begins. None of this past season matters unless they win the offseason. Peace
  17. If we are #1 or #2 I would trade back and get more picks. Peace
  18. Great info - thanks! I believe if he can add just a bit on offense for us he will be a positive asset moving forward. Peace
  19. If Velus ends up just being a really good kick returner, who has maybe 15 to 20 catches a year is that sufficient for a 3rd rounder? I surely don't see that as a bust. Peace
  20. Agreed on Fields. I expect him to put in the effort to improve. Further, I see him really pushing Claypool this offseason. Peace
  21. The Bears were very competitive in most of their losses this year. The last two weeks have been hard to sit through but we are now really starting to see the effects of a depleted roster with 3rd/4th string players starting. The absolute worst Bears football I can remember was the last year of Trestman (2014) where they gave up 50+ points in 2 straight games. Then Aaron Kromer threw Cutler under the bus and the season went completely to hell and massive change was instituted Bottom line, the nine-game losing streak doesn't bother me in the least. This year was a write off. If we're have the same type of discussion at the end of next season then I will be extremely concerned. Peace
  22. 35 -24 Philly. Fields has a touchdown run and 2 TD passes. Peace
  23. Work to fix the trenches this offseason. That should priority No. 1. Peace
  24. Point taken. I guess I'm saying there is no difference finishing 3-14 or 5-12 other than draft position (you're not making the playoffs). A better draft position gives you a chance to get a better player or parlay that better pick into other picks. I see the Bears finishing with either 3 or 4 wins giving them a top 6 pick. I'd much rather see that than 5 or 6 wins with a pick between 10 and 15. I would never call for the team to tank. I'm just hoping they play good and lose each game by a few points like they did with several games earlier this year. Peace Peace
