  1. I wouldn't be surprised if they moved on from both. Now's the time to do it. Peace
  2. As much as I hate to say it, I would trade Monty if we can get a low 3rd/early 4th for him. He's not worth 12 million a year. Peace
  3. Getsy will be a head coach in the next 2 to 3 years. He was very impressive. Our reward will be him fixing our offense and unleashing Fields potential. Peace
  4. Bears hire Rowe as CB coach. https://www.chicagobears.com/news/bears-tab-james-rowe-as-defensive-backs-coach Peace
  5. Hopefully this is the end of this BS. Peace
  6. He'll be hired as a QB coach somewhere and will have to work his way back up the ladder. He really could just take the year off because he is getting paid. I certainly would. Peace
  7. Given Jackson's contract, I don't think they have a choice for this year. Peace
  8. Harbaugh has a fast burn rate (3 to 5 years). I can almost guarantee that if the Vikings hire him with a 10 year contract they will be eating half of it. Peace
  9. Good summary. I saw pictures from the press conference and Ted was definitely there sitting next to George. I have no issues with that as he is still part of the organization. I'm glad they did not include him in the actual press conference. As George said, this is his show now. He needs to own it. Peace
  10. Payton is still under contract. The Bears would have to give up something for him. Peace
  11. All I want is for Poles to pick his head coach. He is the GM. He is responsible for the football side of the Bears organization according to George. The new head coach needs to be hired by Poles. Peace
  12. Nagy and Pace were fired two weeks ago today. I don't trust George or Ted but am waiting to see how this plays out. I am betting a GM and head coach are in place by the end of the week. The only person hired so far is the new GM for the Giants. Peace
  13. Robbie has never missed a kick in the playoffs - 20 field goals and 32 extra points. Robbie is money. Peace
  14. i don't think Harbaugh is coming. A coach just left ND to come and work for him. I think he is leveraging for a raise at Michigan. Peace
  15. Removing Ted from the equation going forward (after the hiring of the new GM and coach) is a good firs step. However, the larger problem remains that George remains at the top and the GM reports directly to him. Nothing will change until the Bears organization finally hires a competent Chairman - someone who is not part of the family. Peace
  16. I agree that George handled the Olin situation poorly. He should have just said he wasn't going to comment . That being said, Olin was offered the standard contract they offer anyone who they are considering to assist the coaching staff with training camp. It's not if they lowballed him compared to someone else. Peace
  17. In my 3rd year of season tickets, I found out my seats were in the drip line of the stadium and we would get soaked whenever there was an ice melt. I spoke personally with George and he moved my seats to multiple different locations for the rest of the season with the promise we would discuss a new seat location after the season. The season ended and I did not hear from him. I received my seat invoice and it was the last seat assignment for the year. I called George and he reminded him of his promise and he said I hadn't had season tickets long enough to me warrant getting a choice. I could either stay where I was or move to the 400 level. Peace
  18. Yeah, that was almost worse than last year. The only difference is they fired Nagy and Pace. Further, the admonishing the high schoolers at Cary Grove High School was completely ridiculous and unnecessary. I had a personal interaction with George with regards to my season tickets years ago. He was a douche then and remains a douche. Peace
  19. Goldman was called out by his position coach a couple weeks ago. https://heavy.com/sports/chicago-bears/chris-rumph-calls-out-eddie-goldman/ Peace
  20. This. I dislike both players but recognize they are outstanding. Peace
  21. Agreed. He should have played the vast majority of the game. Also, Graham only got 4 snaps (Vildor and Burns got the majority). Simply ridiculous. Peace
  22. Bears donated 25k. Nagy donated 7.6 K to match Tevin Jenkins # (JD predicted the Bears would draft him). Peace
  23. Life can be cruel. JD was fantastic. My thoughts and prayers go to his Parker and his family. Rest in peace, JD. Peace https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32953502/jeff-dickerson-espn-chicago-bears-reporter-dies-age-44
