  1. I can't believe you can't believe we're discussing it. But we are. Would you rather discuss Sarah Palin?
  2. A-Freakin-Men. These guys always have their mouths running. Too bad their feet don't run in the same direction.
  3. On the hot seat. Exactly where they belong.
  4. Absolutely agree. This dumbshit opens his mouth now? Shit, Keep your mind on the business at hand. Start worrying about how you and your buddy Urlacher are gonna handle the Colts come Sunday ya dickcheese. It's over and Jones is gone and what we have now can be much more dangerous than what we had. Stop trying to be divisive and handle your phucking business.

    Starting WR?

By what? a freakin blogger? Jesus, this guy is probably a Packer fan. It's the same drivel we've seen regurgitated time and time again. Yeah, very fuckin insightful.
  6. Agreed. Hey, my expectations for this team are playoffs. Anything less and Lovie should be fired. No excuses.
  7. What we need, is our defense to play to their capabilities and this offense to execute a good game plan. All I'm saying is, IF we do that, we can beat Indy. I'm not saying we will but I think we can cause a ton of problems for Manning if we play like we're capable of. Here's something else to think about, nobody really knows what this offense is capable of. You can say what you want about Orton but he came from one of the more prolific passing programs in college football. The thing people dislike about him is that he adapts to his system as opposed to trying to adapt it to himself and that makes him look weaker, more like a game manager or like a journeyman QB. If you don't see that there is a marked improvement and difference in orton this year, you just aren't paying attention. In addition, our running game improved by launching Benson. We added forte and Jones which makes us immediately better than we were and more comparable to 2005 and 2006 with T Jones. Keep talking about the no talent receiving corps we have but don't forget. If hester can do what everyone thinks he can, he's gonna be very dangerous, Lloyd has looked very good and has given us the view of him that made him a high draft pick coming out of college, Davis is not only a very good WR, he can play the slot or wide. Our TEs will be one of the better TE groups in the league. To sum it up, IF we play to our potential, we are certainly very capable of beating Indy.We don't need our guys thinking just because Indy has injuries, and, by the way, Dungy won't let Indy's play suffer because of a few injuries. Our guys need to go out and expect to play against one of the best O and D lines in the game. If they slip a little, fine but don't prepare for a slip and be totally taken aback when there isn't one. Now, with all this good news, the bad is, it's up to Lovie and company to get these guys ready. This is the one of the biggest games they will play. It will set the tone for what happens the rest of the season. A top notch performance by everyone is mandatory.

    Starting WR?

Davis, Lloyd and Hester. Based on production so far except in Hester's case but since he was given all that money, he occupies the spot.
  9. So what you THINK is that they haven't learned their lesson. Ok, if that's your argument, I can live with that. I believe they have learned their lesson and will pull the plug on Lovie if he doesn't win. They don't need to waste 4 yrs and 15M when they can settle with Lovie for half that, not have to waste the 4 yrs and losr the talent they now have and get a proven HC in here to get this team heading in the right direction NOW.
  10. All this is nothing but a bunch of bullshit. The Bears need to forget about this nonsense and be prepared to play the best football they are capable of. If they do, they can win. If they play anything like they have in preseason, nothing else matters. Appalachian State could beat them.
  11. And your logic for this argument is what?
  12. I agree. This franchise has spent, no, OVERSPENT to acquire some of it's talent and I think the fact they ponied up what they did to get Smith resigned shows they have no problem paying for what they want. The issue of whether or not they fire Smith will be decided before the end of this season. I think we'll know by the 4th game whether or not Lovie will be retained and it will be reflected in the play of our football team. And for those of you who believe that the Bears won't fire Smith even though he has 3-4 yrs left on his deal, you need to consider the following; Only fools would continue to pay Smith the kind of money they pay him for the job he is currently doing. Do you think for 1 moment that they will pay this money for the next 3 yrs because they are liable if he doesn't find a coaching job? Come on, they will make a settlement with him and that will be that. Lovie Smith needs to win this year, make no mistake. Aniother 7-9 or worse, he's gone. I say 8-8 and he's gone. What is wrong with this defense IS NOT talent, it is scheme and coaching. RR tweaked the Tampa 2 with disguises and the like. What this dipshit Babich is running is a base cover 2 with a 1 gap line. No imagination, no creativity. Most important, he was hired by Smith and Smith launched RR. Look at the other phluck ups by Lovie I was reminded of by a guy on one of the other boards; He whacked Wade Wilson who now looks fairly smart in Dallas but hey, we have all world Mr Pep Hamilton. He sure fixed Rex. How many LB coaches have we had since babich got promoted? He promoted Anderson over Alex brown, he went out of his way to get Archuletta who sucked, he announces this training camp that Bradley is the #1 receiver. This guy has been an absolute disaster since losing the SB. Now, while he doesn't outright lie by the definition of the word, he sure witholds, omits, and serves up a creative interpretation of the facts as good as any liar I know. And this from a guy with such high moral fiber? Guys, better we face it now. One more stinker season and Lovie is toast.
  13. No question that Cowher would be my top pick. Singletary has no experience and I don't want another first time HC guy. I don't care if it's Singletary, Butkus, sayers or Walter Payton. There is no Bear history that matters enough to me to want another first time HC.
  14. That's a great question and we'll find out pretty soon but if he can't, my guess is his stay in Chicago will be a short lived one. But he'll probably have plenty of company.
  15. I read somewhere that his daughter had a serious illness. I will try and find the source.

    john Beck?

Who knows, maybe he's the next Caleb Hanie.
  17. Nobody drafted Tony Romo either. The only thing idiotic I see is guys like you that refuse to see the skills this guy has. I don't give a freak whether every pass he thru was against a bunch of freakin girls. He made the throws downfield, accurately and on time and he also showed something else we haven't seen from the other two knotheads we have, he can freakin scramble. So YOU get over YOURSELF and open your freakin eyes. Nobody's saying start the guy but if you're so impressed with the dynamic duo, knock yourself out. Count me as one of the guys who wants Hanie on the roster.
  18. I'll tell you right here and now that if you let Hanie have another game like he had Thursday you can bet your ass he'll get picked up in a heartbeat if he's put on the practice squad. Every idiot with a PC thinks there a freakin expert on our QB situation and you're out of your freakin mind if you think this coaching staff did a thing to develop Orton OR Grossman. While your at it, why don't you go look at this guys passing stats and QB rating before you make a comment like that. By the way Tony Romo wasn't drafted and he didn't turn out too bad did he?
  19. freak Tank Johnson. He's nothing more than a common street thug. He should know better than to trash a teammate whose done nothing to him. He should have more respect. I know he won't get any lessons in respect playing for the Cowboys. Don't worry, he'll find a way to freak up his situation in Dallas. Just as soon as they start winning and things look bright, he'll make that trip out to a club and get somebody else shot and then his career will be over. Of course he'll be remorseful but in the end, he is what he is.
  20. Hey guys, Kyle Orton managed the offense his rookie year. So could this guy if neccesary. Let's stop acting as if our freakin offense is something to be proud of. I'm not sure how much of a drop off there is between our opponents #3 , #2 and #1 defensive squads and I really don't even care but this guy obviously has something that we haven't seen in Chicago for quite awhile, protoypical size, a strong arm, great mobility and pocket presence. If push comes to shove, I would rather see us take the chance on this kid than bringing in a proven loser like Chris Simms. Just go back and look at his stats from college. This guy is no stranger to a QB rating over 100. HE just might be the game manager this team needs for the long haul. I know, one quarter of football does not a career make but far too many people have noticed this guy's skills from the other night to think it is a fluke.
  21. It's pretty obvious that Hanie has some great tools, a strong arm, good mobility, goes thru his progressions well and he has alot of poise in the pocket. The problem I see is, this coaching staff does such a poor job in developing talant that some freakin moron will try and put this guy on the PS where he'll last about 15 minutes before a real NFL team picks him up and does with him what we should have. It's ok though because let's face it, this is the Bears. What do they know about QBs anyway?
  22. I just wish we has a coaching staff competent enough to develop him. Unfortunately, we don't. Yet..........
  23. Whoever says they will open with 2 QBs is an idiot. Especially given the history of cheech and chong here. Let me just say this. If they enter the season with Hanie on the PS, he'll be gone in the blink of an eye and we'll have lost a great talent and for that, I'd fire every asshole in this organization.
  24. According to both the Packers and Jets it was confirmed by Adam Shefler tonight. The Packers get anywhere from a 4th rd to 1st rd pick dpending on snaps and team success.
