  1. Color me intrigued. ❓
  2. Kay Adams interviews DJ Moore. Talk about Shane Waldron and Justin.

  4. Sadly I think (our) Mongo is right. From what i read he’s been back home since early August where Jarrett Payton was seen visiting with him (below). McMichael’s wife Misty said she hopes he lives long for the ceremony but has already been working on his speech. And has managed so far to say “Thank you Chicago.”
  5. I believe it’s dated from last February (2023). It was regarding last year’s #1 overall. Saw the same one yesterday.
  6. Shannon (aka Mongo) struggles with what to do with Fields. I would agree that the least they could do, if they trade him, is to send him to Atlanta. With all the tools there AND it’s his hometown! Yikes.
  7. Hey Mongo, looks like your namesake is making it in. Along with Peppers and Hester. How cool!
  8. Well said. I would agree with just about all of it. I’d be willing to take MHJ overall just because that’s how talented I think he is. But because the team needs more overall pieces and capital I can’t overlook that aspect just to have him “at any cost”. Really for the same reason I can’t consider taking any of the prospective QBs at #1. I’m of the belief there is enough talent among the QB prospects that one of them could be had in the lower part of round one or early 2. And while doing so giving Justin a run for his money. Thank you for the great response. Much appreciated.
  9. Williams' collegiate career rushing (3 years / 37 games): 289 attempts for 966 yards for 27 TDs Fields' collegiate career rushing (3 years / 34 games): 260 attempts for 1133 yards for 19 TDs. How is "holding the ball too long is that he continues to use his eyes to look downfield to make the pass..." different from what we've seen Justin do?
  10. Sorry, should have added this was from August of '22.
  11. Same thing different delivery. For some reason my phone doesn't always make the connection. Sometimes I'll submit a message only to see it didn't take. There's a lot of internets-webby stuff between Alaska and the rest of the world.
  12. Evidently his “tell” is when he says “what he’s hearing” vs “what he thinks”. Exhibit A (from August of 2022):
  13. Would you look at that. The big disparity in overall TDs appears to be in the "rushing TDs". Hmmm... ?
  14. "Intriguing" indeed. Especially when you compare him to a QB who started for three years AND won the Heisman once and these were the comps. Hmm....?
  15. My original answer didn't make it...hmm. QBR isn't something I'm well versed in. Its an ESPN schematic that I think factors in other things like rushing yardage, turnover percentages and a few other "scientific" factor points. Adam is much more adept at it than I. Anyhow, I didn't realize both were Juniors. And assume that Sanders is staying in Colorado for another year? What I find interesting is that they were both in the same Conference so they (mostly) had the same competition. I do recall you liking Sanders, so that should be my primary reason for dis-liking him. ?
  16. Not trying to catch you in a contradiction at all. Just that if there are other coaches/GMs out there that would be willing to relinquish a #1 pick because they could fix him, what's to say Waldron couldn't? Would you have said the same about Geno Smith two years ago? Speaking of, Geno is a big question mark now in Seattle with both Pete Carrol and Waldron gone (according to some reading I did recently). We'll see if his performance was more his own or Waldron's doing. Assuming he makes it to the roster there next season. As far as my questions about Nagy and Getsy losing their jobs. You said they both lost their jobs BECAUSE of Justin. I only ask is it because they were great coordinators that couldn't make Justin work or not? Of the two, Nagy had better success than Getsy...IMHO. Regardless, I personally wouldn't rate them as two of the greatest offensive minded coaches in the league (strategically speaking). I' am keeping our conversation about football. There are a myriad of other subjects I could drone on about, but not football stuff. FWIW, I noticed that you have recently mentioned the idea of keeping Justin and drafting a QB to compete with him. That idea I like.
  17. Point of discussion. Saw this on a random social media site.
  18. Interesting.... Because they're great coordinators or??

  20. Wait a minute… a first for Justin? Didn’t someone else point out if other teams view Caleb as the #1 overall talent so should we, the why would team(s) value Justin as having potential #1 pick trade value? I thought he sucked?
  21. Honestly gotta read up more on Daniels. For me he played in an SEC school after playing at ASU and won the Heisman this last year (which I didn't know). But man its hard to overlook MHJ repeatedly showing up in the top two positions in just about everyone's boards. The write up on Williams seems almost a carbon copy of Fields'.
  22. Ah yes. Giggling Marlin...remember that place too. Another good one.
  23. As far as 'safety' goes there were two parts to Cabo (if memory serves). The resort section aka Cabo San Lucas then the actual village / town of Cabo where all the locals live. You have to pass through Cabo to get to the San Lucas part. I don't recall it being scary dangerous just not as tourist friendly. I'd imagine in the last 20 years that's all changed a bit. Stinger could speak to it better than me. The marina and most of the beach area were all mostly part of the resort areas.
  24. Like DK Metcalf??? That would be wonderful.
  25. Last December when I was in Cali there was a guy buying $80 shots of some high end version of Petron(?) He tried to get me to do one with him...had to pass as I was working on my second Old Fashioned and not usually a good practice to blend Whiskey and Tequila.
