From what I read/heard Pace had control of 53 man roster and now Fox does. Did fox trump Pace in the draft room and FA?

Bernstein, Hub and now Hampton are saying it..... who knows what to believe. if Fox grabbed power from Pace then I wouldn't be surprised if Pace fires Fox after the season, or at least tries to.

I think everyone agrees that the QB is the most important position on a team. The Chicago Bears draft history in the first round : 1939 #2 overall - Sid Luckman 1942 #10 overall - Frankie Albert 1946 #4 overall - Johnny Lujack 1948 # 3 overall - Bobby Layne 1951 #2 Overall - Bob Williams This is where it gets weird not one QB taken in the first round from 1952 to 1982 1982 #5 overall - Jim McMahon 1987 #26 overall - Jim Harbaugh 1999 #12 overall - Cade McNown 2003 #22 overall - Rex Grossman Since 1952 the Bears have draft 1 QB in the top 10, our beloved Jim McMahon. Now maybe Pace can get lucky and draft a Tom Brady in the 6th but I don't see that happening to anytime soon. If the Bears happen to be in the top 5 or top 3 draft slots I hope there is a QB that is a game changer. The Bears are not lucky enough to tank in a year that a Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning type QB is coming out. It seems like the QB's that are coming out this year all have some questions marks. I like that Pace has targeted Marritoa and Wentz, it gives me confidence that he knows what traits to look for in a QB. I hope he finds one and grabs him, if he is right it could change the Franchise forever! '

Doesn't this go back to Ted Phillips???? George ran the season tickets before becoming the Chairman, I don't expect him to be a killer in that role right off the bat. I would hope he would learn how to be a good Chairman over time but that is why you have a CEO below George to run the football operations. I was not upset when they traded Olsen as I thought he was a little better then average. Slower and easy to tackle, put that with the fact that Martz didn't use a TE in his system there was no reason to keep him around. Well the Martz era didn't last very long and Olsen got better. He has turned into a really good TE.

I was a naysayer on Dak. I will say that the oline down there helps out when you have a rookie QB. Either way the kid has been good.

How do you know Pace is running the show? There are two guys pretty well connected to the Bears saying Fox is winning in the power grab at Halas Hall. I really dont care who has more power over the other as long as Ted is not mingling in football affairs. I do agree I like the direction the Bears are going. They needed to get younger and improve the overall talent as well. They have gotten younger and it seems the overall talent has gone up, if they could get healthy it would be easier see how much more talented this group is.

Two different bones, same leg. Operation on one bone causing the other bone to be weaker???? Not an expert but I dont see it. Now if the muscle around said bones were weaker and that meant the torque was easier to break a bone then maybe I could see that but from what I read he was 100%.
