I agree with this train of thought. I think if you fix the Oline the Offense could be a real threat, if White pans out the Bears could have a complete offense with only upgrading the Oline. Everything with the oline depends on what they do with Long. I would think they move him back to G but there may be a possibility of a move to LT. If they move him back to G here is what I would do RT = FA - Andre Smith??? only 28 years old RG = Long = pro bowl C = 55 = hopefully with a year of weight training he will not be pushed around LG = Slauson LT = Old Miss Tackle or ND Tackle, if we draft in the top 10 LT is the most expensive Oline position, draft him and not pay too much in FA. On defense, if a Vonn Miller type OLB hits the market I feel you have to go after him(not sure he will hit FA). Pair him with Pernell and you have an insane outside combo. Then draft in the 2nd round a Inside back like Scooby Wright. If you don't get a crack at Miller the other LB from Denver would be a good signing. Paring him with Scooby would be a great LB combo. Then you ride out with Houston and Young paired with Pernell.

He by no means is Lance Briggs fat but a little heavier then normal. He had weight issues at SC if I remember correctly. The leg issues probably has limited how much conditioning he has done all season hence the added weight. The leg injuries happened first, he was in great shape going into camp.

5th sounds soooooooooooo much better than 16th......... I have seen everything I needed to see from this team and staff. I love where this is headed, with an upgrade of overall team talent the Bears probably win most of the 7 games decided by 3 points.

Been waiting to see this updated! Lol
-
The Bears are just not in it today. Climb up that draft spot board!!!!
-
I hope they draft a LT. Sign a RT in FA. Oline would instantly be amazing LT - Stanley or guy from Old Miss LG- Slauson C- 55 or Montgomery RG- Long RT- free agent stud if there is any

Cue oline freak up..... Cue Probowl OG playing Tackle getting beat, killing drive
-
Sp Teams making plays today! Good to see
-
Yep. No doubt about it. Beat the Pack then lose two in a row to 49ers and Skins..... Hey wait, the Bears beat the Pack on thanksgiving!!!!!!! Made my season!!!
-
I agree with you Forte still having some gas left in tank. I don't think it will come down to that as the deciding factor if he stays next year.
-
Was that Cutler looking like Rodgers with that back shoulder throw for the TD!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Long should really be at G
-
At some point it's time to throw it away. Don't mind holding on it while the potcket holds up but after away throw it
-
Cutler held on toooooo long Not a good series by the O. Have to take advantage of good field position
-
1 play 1 penalty by Oline
-
Here we go!!!! As I'm writing this a great return! Great start!
-
Offense Cutler - he will be back, has really performed well with a sub par Oline and injuries to every weapon WR, TE, RB, added him to list due to some guys probably still wanting him gone Forte - This will probably be the most debated player - should they resign him or let him go??? Langford and Carey have looked good Alshon - franchise or sign long term - thoughts on long term contract? Bennett - trade, cut, give him more money??? Bushrod - I bet he gets cut Montgomery - bring him back or let the rookie start? Long - move back to G or leave at Tackle Defense- Houston - has played well as of late, do you cut him, trade him or bring him back Young - out of position but has came on as late, cut, trade or bring back Shae - resign or let walk Rolle - cut or bring back? Jenkins - resign him Sutton - cut or bring back Porter - think he was only on a 1 year deal- resign ? Acho - one year deal as well, resign him? Ego -cut or bring back Mundy - bring back Would love to hear your thoughts on these players, if I left anyone off the list that may be in line to either be cut, traded or resigned please add him to the list.

3:00 .....waiting till the last min....leads me to think he is not playing
-
Only one Olineman??? so not like you! lol....... Im sure you have them picking up some FA Oline then. I would shit myself with this draft, although I don't see Nkemdiche falling to the 2nd.
-
Yeah I agree on him going earlier, but you never know the draft surprises me every year. They have the Bears picking Oline, that's good enough for me. Being an ND fan I have watched a lot of Stanley, he would be a great pick up.
-
Check the latest mock draft I posted, you will like for sure! I have watched very little of Long, the plays where he screws up I typically rewind and watch a couple times to see what happened. From the major mistakes I would think he needs to move back. I would love to know how he is grading out from the Coaches perspective.
-
I don't see his draft stock dropping very much at all, its not like he has a Randy Gregory type past. Now if he fails his bowl game drug test or the Combine drug test he may fall.

https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/...mock-draft-1-0/ 10. Chicago Bears: Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss The Bears need to improve their offensive line play, and Tunsil started to live up to his immense potential in limited time this year. He’s a smooth-moving left tackle prototype who graded at +11.3 in the run game, while surrendering only four pressures on 204 attempts. Im about all in on OLINE, OLINE and OLINE. Maybe one Tackle in FA and one Tackle in the draft.

My thought on biggest needs for next year 1.Oline 1A. Inside Linebackers after that its a toss up. you need to get more pressure on the QB so do you go OLB or Dline? Still need some DB help, which brings up the questions, will a better pass rush make the lifes of the DB's better. With Paces hits on Amos and Cahallan later in the rounds it makes me thing going Dline and OLB early would be better. With Plenty of money in FA and another Pace draft the Bears could easily be Playoff Contenders. It will be interested to see what the FA market looks like. Hopefully the FA market and Draft class strengths match up with Bears needs. Depending on where the Bears draft this year we could possibly see two top draft picks suiting up for the Bears next year (with white finally playing).

It does suck to lose but losing like the Bears lost this year is completely different than last year. They are out of the playoffs, they have lost 4 or 5 games by 3 points. I can deal with it. Last year was embarrassing. After last season I had no hope for this team unless everyone was fired. That happened expect Ted Phillips, Im not a greedy man so I was really happy. 2015 positives Cutler has played really well and looks to be a QB that we could win with now Pace drafted REALLY well! Pernell was a great pick up, great leader to build around Alshon when healthy is a top WR, if white is a stud this could be a deadly combo Langford looks to be a good RB Goldman will be a stud Amos should pan out to be a good S for us for a long time Fuller has shown some improvement 2015 Negatives Inside Linebacker is a huge need Oline needs some upgrades badly We didn't get to see White play Robbie has lost his magic touch - can he get it back Sp Teams has been a big problem- with more overall talent on the team this should get fixed I don't think the Bears will ever tank to get a better draft pick. I will say that at this point I want the bears to get the Best draft pick possible. If they happened to lose the rest of the games I do not think it will negatively affect this team. They know they are close, with a couple of additions they could be a playoff contender. Hell with a couple of made FG's and bounces the Bears could be contending for a playoff spot right now.
