Is Massen Smith or Kris Jenkins any good? Never seen them play yet.

I think any that had the top 2 QBs picked after the 3rd pick is unrealistic. I didnt look at all of them because I was getting dizzy but like this one because you added 3 OL and 3 DL and 10 top 100 players, Plus a 1st and 2nd rounder future picks.

We definitely need to start drafting Ss, Jackson is going to be gone. I do think we could find one in FA.

Both of them were head coaches and didnt do well.

If Braxton comes back and plays well, I doubt they take a OT in the first round. I would like to draft a OT to be a swing OT in a mid round. The centers arent ranked real high but still grab one.

If he ends up being the choice Im good with it but want to other candidates and compare. I never even gave Campbell a thought when he went to Detroit, turned out good.

I expect us to win 4-5 more games this year. That would put us picking from 7-13. I expect Carolina picking 1-5 . Where we pick will be huge as to who we draft. If we go QB, we may have to trade both our top 2 picks to move to one or two. Everyone of the worst teams probably pick a QB so we may not get one of the top 2. So JJ McCarthy around our pick (7-13)? The rest of the year will plan our future going forward as far as who we draft.

You need good players, not everyone is a star. Figure in the cheap contract he signed for this year, 2.7 mil that's 3 yrs at 11.2 mil, that's very cheap.

Kramer is that seasoned smart OC but not sure he is physically up to the challenge. I think Poles will bring in a FA and draft one. He seems to hammer a position when its a need, WR-DB and now edge. He sighed 3 DEs and now traded for one.

All statements are true. If you look at the FA edge players only D. Hunter is of the same quality as Sweat .Young is available but he brings injury and attitude baggage. Then the talent takes a deep drive. In the draft only the high picks will bring you a quality prospect at edge. I think they want to use those picks for best player available, Harrison, Bowers, OT, QB plus I think they had intended on FA and as will as in the draft. This gives them flexibility. If Braxton Jones comes back and plays well, I expect them to draft a swing T but not in the first round. If Braxton struggles then it turns to OT with a high pick. Just lots of question marks that the rest of the season with define better for us. Poles probably got the best FA edge last year in Nagakoue but we just need more to build the DL. The commanders didnt make Sweat available until the last minute because they werent getting a lot of value with Young. A third from SF is virtually a high 4th round pick. They would not let people talk to Sweat early to work out a deal ahead of time because they didnt intend to trade him. Tampering brings lost draft capital. Poles just took the risk but I like he is more of a gambler. Some times you win and sometimes you lose.

The best OCs in the draft are only rated 3rd round and lower. We dont need to grab one in the second. Barton was listed as a OG , didnt know he played center.

FAgency doesnt have any top tier centers but may get one and a rookie. Poles drafted Kramer, I would like to see what he has got. Apparently not resdy yet.

Saints are similar to Raiders except with a better defense. Just establish the run and go from there.

Its obvious we will need a new OC next year. We didnt draft one this year and the only one that had started was John Michael Scmitiz and he has been hurt for 4 games and not played well at all. According to PFF the 32nd ranked center. Joe Tippmann was drafted as a OG-OC and is starting at OG and has good grades. Last years group drafted may end up being good players but not one them has shined in their first year. I think Whitehair will be let go and Patrick is out of contract. Doug Kramer hasnt seen the field yet so we have nothing to judge him by. The best OC in the draft ( Sedic Van Pran )is rated a second round pick and we no longer have a 2nd round pick. He may last until the 3rd round but may not be an instant starter. Only a few have done that over the last few years. There are a few in FAgency this year under 30: Andre James/Raiders 9th ranked on PFF Evan Brown/ Seahawks 23 rd ranked Lloyd Cushenberry/Broncos 13th ranked Tyler Biadasz/Cowboys 18th ranked Connor McGovern and Ryan Jensen will be available be are going to be 32. I would say go after Andre James at 27 and playing well this year and have Doug Kramer as the backup and still drat one later in the draft.

When you work with other coaches, you don't necessarily know their personal side. Flus will speak later but I dont think they are aloud to speak to these matters in detail. You would thing maybe him hitting on a employee, or something more lewd. Flus recruited the coaches and Poles hired them. Chances are it was hidden behavior before that they didnt know about I doubt if it is something that just popped up. I think overall all of these are more prevalent because of their losing these past few years.

It will be interesting to see if it is related to the other firing.

Its very odd having 2 coaches fired in season. I wonder if they are related to the same situation. Dont see Flus being our coach next year just by the disfunction of the coaches he hired. Will have to say that this year has lots of story lines making this season interesting. Not all good thou.

If Chase Young plays well, he will seek the top dollars for an edge rusher. That would be 25+. We can probably get Sweat sighed in the 20-22 range. On the Washington DL he was 4th on the pecking order. Here he will be the top dog. No reason to not expect Poles doesnt get him resigned before the end of the year. Having the highest cap going into next year puts us in the position to sign players other teams cant.

As much as we have been losers, other teams have major problems to. I think we end up winning enough games that there will not be an in year firing.
