  1. Anyone heard of Ryan Bates? We took a visit from him. He started at LG for the Bills the last 5 games of the season. He played all positions for Buffalo as a backup. He can play both OG positions and RT. He shows up on the Bills website depth chart as the starter at LG. I also think Poles may be interested in Eric Fisher. He hasn't signed with anyone yet and although he didn't have a good year last year, he was a premium starter acres yrs ago. Anyone interested in Nate Solder?
  2. A lot of people are pushing for Armsted but the problem with him is , he averaged 10 games played in the last 3 seasons. We have to stay away from pre injured players.
  3. To be honest, we need to bring in two WR on the chance we get a #1 for sure. Roll the dice on two. I would love a stud SS but lots of Ss in free agency. Also CBs.
  4. A good runner and pass catcher. Not much for YAK but you don't need that since you're there to block.
  5. They only have 6 picks and the first 3 need to be Tyler Smith, Christian Watson and Alex Pierce. Then they need a MLB, SS, CB, if not two. A developmental OT, a TE, developmental QB, and a punter. The point is they don't have enough picks for everything. I guess after 39-48-71, you take BPA and fill what needs you can.
  6. I think you have to have 3 pass rushers, this rounds it out. You couldn't go into he season with Al-Q and Gibson. Everyone says they are completely rebuilding but I disagree . I think he's just remaking the roster the way he wants it. Lots of turnover.
  7. Lots of LTs still out there. It would be nice to know to who he made offers to.
  8. This is another potential core player signing. Young and ascending. Has upside, not your30 yr old , INE and done signing.
  9. Just read a note from Briggs that we offered Brian Allen 2 mil more per year. than he signed with the Rams for. Patrick was the backup plan, it works for me . Not a star but an upgrade.
  10. St Brown is a (meh) but Pringle is a good WR. He will definitely be noticed.
  11. They already signed another guy, Justin Jones, played for the Chargers. Production wasn't special but young, 25. Still need another guy. Matt Loaninis. Is available, good production., played with Washington. Also Jarran Reed, Quinton Jefferson, Solomon Thomas, was the third pick in the draft Trubisky was un.
  12. Adams had 169 targets last year, and St Brown was his backup. I don't know if he's any good or not but at he will have an opportunity to do better. If he makes the team, maybe Fields makes him a better player.
  13. The only #1 out there that may be getable is OBJ. Don't remember what his injury was but he may be available on a cheaper contract.
  14. AROB is gone but we got his replacement, Equanimeuos ST Brown. 6'5" with 4.48 speed.
  15. It's only been few days, these coming days are when the 2nd wave signing start. I heard mention by several beat writers that we made a push for Brian Allen, but the SB champs won. I suspect Patrick became the next in line. We don't know who they made offers to. It could have been several that we got outbid for. New players coming soon. Cruz mentioned and I saw it to that Morrow was a S , he may be used at a hybrid spot as a SS or NB, has the speed for it.
  16. Landry is a possession WR , so can't be a big contract. 10 mil a year tops.

    Mock Drafts

Any draft that gets you Watson, Pierce and Smith is a great draft. The rest of that draft would a bonus with Brisker a day one starter.
  18. A high hill to climb in the draft But it worked last year for both Bears and KC. There will absolutely be a good WR at 39, hopefully who they like will be there. I would take the player at 39 and trade back with 48 or 71, or both. I have been doing a ton of mock drafts and these names keep poping up. Christian Watson, Alex Pierce, Pickens, and Sky Moore. I would take any of them.
  19. MVS is a Goodwin signing, A deep threat but a #4 WR. Only if on a cheap contract. He will surprise us with who we end up with. Morrow and Patrick are outta left field transactions. If you you dig deep this are good players, not difference makers. I thought a surprise grab would have been Kalif Raymond, A Cohen type with 4.36 speed. But he resigned with the Lions. JuJu at a cheap one year deal has the upside of a good player but only at our price. Byron Pringle and Demarcus Robinson are out there and have 4.4 speed and wouldn't be expensive. Still only 3s at best. Patience is not my strong suit, but I would be bitching if they overpaid, Still could end up with Eric Fisher at 8 mil a year. I would be good with that.
  20. I would jump on JC Tretter and play Lucas at RG . Being in Thailand, I'm doing everything on my tablet, it keeps changing my words all the time, I hate it.
  21. Its always about the money, unless it's like Akin Hicks came back because he wanted to finish his career here. Wouldn't happen, bad example.
  22. Poles added a core player, which is going to cost more. Most signings are looked at temporary, this one is not. We have 6 draft picks that hopefully can turn into 8, New England was notorious for trading down. 2 will have to be WRs, 2 OL, CB, SS , Edge, and LB. Ideally, A QB prospect, A speed TE, more LBers, and a DL. We simply don't have enough draft picks. Question : Wou!d you be okay with passing up an ideal prospect, to trade down for extra picks? Example, Zion Johnson at 39 .
  23. If he takes a 1 year 6 mil contract, absolutely. I think A J Green would be more productive.
  24. 4.52 in the 40. Roquan was 4.51. Now get a brute at MLB and we may have something.
