Watson-Pickens for 39 but Pierce should be there at 48 and maybe 71. Sky Moore is my 3rd at 39.
-
So if Linderbaum drops do we take him? Last year Matt Slater was drafted by Chargers and he has short arms, played great (LT)
-
UDFAs might bring some, but not drafting.
-
I always use PFN mock draft simulator. I am easily getting Linderbaum at 39. There are constantly updating there big board, I wonder if there is actual merit for him dropping?
-
Mack is trying out for SAM spot, he's still on the roster.
-
The bears just signed James O'Shaughnessy, TE

In a Flus interview, his defense is fly to the ball mentality. He said the starters will get 60% of the snaps but normally rotates players to keep them fresh. So won't be much different between starter and backup. So look for competition with backup types. They will all play. Another thing I noticed was there are a lot of older draftees this year. Rainman and Cole Strange are 24. T. Smith and D Green are 21. I would say that might come in to play with some of these picks. If its a pro bowl type talent, it won't matter but if its someone that take a year or two, to develop, who would you rather have?

Logan Hall is listed as a DE, but his profile says he played inside a lot. With 10 lbs added he may succeed as a 3T which is normally ranked in the 70s.
-
How many true #1s are out there? 15. I don't count players like Julio Jones or A J Green because they are past there prime. Ridley is not playing, OBJ hurt, Michael Thomas?, ARob, has to show it again. Mooney don't compare the top 15 but if he gets 90-1200-7( close last year) every year that's a good WR. 81-1055-4.
-
The draft should play out where he doesn't have to reach any of those positions in the first 3 picks. It all depends on whether there is a run on WRs. If 8 go before 39, A Rainman or Winfrey may drop. If Rainman is still there at 39 you may be able to get Tyler Smith at 48. Winfrey- Smith-Pierce. That would work for me.
-
Cole would be a good get. I also like Jameree Salyer from Georgia. Poles will come up with a player not well known and having him. starting day 1. I would also like a rookie OT that would become our swing tackle and potential starter down the road.
-
Smith and Watson, in alot of player rankings, Logan Hall is close to our pick 71. That would be my triad.
-
I think Mooney can be a #1, I doubt anyone thought Cooper Kupp was a number 1 when they drafted him in the 3rd round.
-
I think offers are on the table and the closer it gets to the draft, some players will sign to make sure they don't get left out. I like Beasley better, wise vet that has produced everywhere he's been. Would help the WR room.I tink try only sign one more WR and draft 2.
-
Looking that way. Still depth in WRs to get a good one at 71.
-
I think with paying Rodgers they realize paying Adams that money would doom the roster. KC, trade Hill same thing.
-
In one day this negative vibe that clouds the Bears could change with a Duane Brown signing, Xaiver Rhodes, Tajae Sharpe.
-
Brown Cole Rhodes Edmunds Ogunjobi Hitchens

That's a very good comparison with Lockett. Tyler is a bit faster. When they do the advance metrics, Pringle actually was second in the league last year in route separation which means he gets open. As much as Mooney has worked hard to be good, I can see Pringle the leader in receptions this year.
-
That all sounds reasonable but instead of writing here you need to send a letter to Flus and tell him to change his defense. Jaylon Johnson can be a press corner and he's pretty good.
-
I expect 10 to 12 out of Quinn this year. Gipson 8 to 10. Q- Mo have 6-8. This defense will be better this year than last years. With the speed he's adding and the 7 to he ball concept, A much different look with more TOs.
-
Well Watson, and Pierce are big and faster, so why not have both. I think Pringle is going to be very good. You add a big X WR and our passing game will look totally different. If we just had a average OC last year , everything would have been better. Mooney- Pringle-St Brown, Kmet and Montgomery out of the backfield plus a couple rookies, this will be some good Sun afternoon fun.

I seen Thorn on a CHGO podcast with Olin. He name has been mentioned many times over the last two years and most draft sites refer to him as an expert at OLine. Besides Buford, he mentioned Care Mays, Cam Jurgins , and Luke Fortner as players better than there rated, not necessarily sleepers. At 39 those two OTs could be there. There will be some OL rated as better prospects around in the 70 to 90 range. Luke Goedeke, Cole Strange, Jameree Salyer, Sean Rhyan, Killen Diesch, and Luke Fortner. I think if a Linderbaum, Johnson, or Green drip that will be our pick at 39. If Tyler Smith is there, they may like him at 39 or 48. Otherwise I would grab WRs and a Cole Strange at 71,
-
Moore and Pringle can also play outside. Its never going to be a certain set, all of them will see a lot of playing time. Almost everywhere, Moore is higher rated than Pierce, but Pierce is the big speed guy this team needs. If Seattle trades DJ, it won't accept our #2, even other don't get it done.

I wonder if he ended up getting Brian Allen if Patrick was inline for RG or Bates was it all the time. Maybe all three and Whitehair would have been cut or traded? Listening to a podcast with Dane Bugler on it and he said , if Trevan Jenkins was in the draft this year he would be the 6th best OL in the draft. Late first or early 2 nd. So I think he's a for sure and Borom is the question to answer. He had the Bears taken Darius Kinnard in the third. Could start at RT or RG in the first year in his mock draft.
