Interesting. i wouldnt take him in the 1st but I wouldnt put it past JA. he does some off the wall things. I'd take him in the second. But I still think I'd go for someone like Chris Johnson or Jamaal Charles if RB isnt the #14. then I'd look to someone like Carl Nicks in the 2nd.

Jones averaged 3.6 YPC behind the Dallas OL last year. Once in his career he had over 4 YPC for a year. he'll be lucky to get 3 behind the Bears OL. Jones was given all the chances to be the man in Dallas. there are a TON of weapons around him and they have a very good OL. The ONLY way this makes sense is if Benson is cut. I'll take someone that has real potential in the draft.

Shortly after his season ended was about 2 months ago. the Sr. Bowl was about a month ago and he was a solid 3rd and a possible 2nd rounder then. He was NOT a 4th rounder a month ago. In October/November he was but not at the end of the season after taking his team to their national championship game. The buzz was really starting to pick up then which was in December. now he's a solid 2nd and possible 1st.

He was not a 4th a month ago. he was a 2nd or 3rd a month ago. Dixon and Brennan do NOTHING for me. Dixon wont even be useful for a year with the injury. I'd rather take Josh Johnson over him. He's a pass first QB that can run like a RB. Dixon looked like a run first QB that tries to pass when he needs to. Brennan would make me puke. He's Rex with less talent and a worse throwing motion. I could at least live with Dixon.

I dont really care what color his skin. Johnson has skill and I would bet he's probably a better passer coming out of college than Vick and Young. He's a pass first QB. People see a dude's black and just assume he can only run and will not be a good QB. I'll say this now, he'll have a better career than Brennan.

no way any team is stupid enough to give up a 2nd or 3rd for Benson. Hell, Randy Moss netted a 4th, IIRC and Benson isnt even in his league in terms of production or pure physical talent. Plus, I really doubt JA would even think about cutting Benson loose...not to mention the cap hit. Not going to happen.
