It's a boring slow morning for this guy so I wanna compile my realistic "Fantasy defense". First, I'm gonna go ahead and let Jennings and Melton walk, then also release Peppers to save money(I plan on franchising Cutler)... I'm gonna sign Jarius Byrd(9M) and Martellus's brother Michael Bennett(6M) Then in the draft... 1RD- Ra'Shede Hageman/Louis Nix DT....I'm actually liking Hageman more than Nix at this point. 2RD- Darqueze Denard CB Mich ST...Been watching "Mr. No Fly Zone" the last few weeks and I think he's gonna be a stud. 3RD- LaMarcus Joyner CB/S FLA ST...Gives them flexibility to either keep Tillman at CB or move him to safety. I think Till…

Damn are the Lions terrible. This is embarrassing.

There is our 3T, had 7 sacks,16 QB Hits, and 12 TFLs for the Bengals last year.

An unusual rumor that New England wants Shaq Thompson and may try to trade up had me thinking of a swap. #1-7=1500, for #1-31=600, next years 1st= 500, #2-62=296, #3-94=116 1-31 = Benardrick McKinney MLB 2-39 =Todd Gurley RB 2-63=Hronis Grasu C 3-71=Durrell Eskridge FS 3-95=Jake Fisher OT 4-103=Quinton Rollins CB 5-Denver 6-WR

We have three decent DEs who have all shown flashes but this team hasnt had a pass rusher that can take over a game in a long time. The closest thing I can think of isnt even a DE, its Colvin. If this team could get a guy who can actually make a team gameplan for him our defense would dominate. Our d line has been ok the past few years and this year looks good against the run but if we could get pressure on the qb I think our defense could generate ridiculous amounts of turnovers. Look what happened yesterday when we needed a stop, Griese was sitting in the pocket all day. I think a safety and defensive end should be needs for this off season along with OL, QB and po…

We, as fans, are always looking for that one player who will put us over the top. Among the many positions we have discussed, WRs often come up. Three WRs who have generated a lot of discussion are TO, Burress and Marshall. TO is out of the picture, but I am still keeping him in this question for the hell of it. Considering each, who is the WR you would most want. TO - Pure locker room cancer. Some have golf or hunting as a hobby, but TO's hobby is throwing his QB (and often coach) under the bus. He simply has a way on ruining chemistry in the locker room. On the other hand, he also has a way of simply dominating on the field. While many will point to his num…

After two straight losses, this is a must win if we want to have any chance at making the playoffs. If we can't beat the Jets at Soldier Field, we do not deserve to sniff the playoffs. We are favored by 9 and need to dominate for 60 minutes and put this team away. I am hoping for a better game all around. Please just have Cunningham kneel for every kickoff kicked in the end zone. Bears 31-17 Detroit is playing Seattle, Green Bay is playing in LA against the Rams, and Minnesota draws New Orleans at home. They all could easily lose, giving us a chance to leapfrog back to the top of the Division.

Watching the NFL Network and they did their own little sweet sixteen of this upcoming year's NFL teams. We weren't even mentioned. They had GB as a 11 seed, and mentioned minny as a snub. Wow I know we're not having a great offseason, but we ARE only 2 years removed from the superbowl! Minny???? cmon they have a worse qb situation than us. At least both of our qb's have shown a little something in this league. I hope that our defense stays healthy and we Bi### slap the entire league all the way to the big dance. With our d and s.t. we don't need much other than off in this draft. I bet we go all off. maybe williams or clady or otah in the first. trade up with ou…

ok, yes i am a Patriot homer, but here is how i would at least attemp to turn our beloved Bears around (although it would never happen) Fire GM and coaches. Hire Scott Pioli as GM, Josh McDaniels (NE O Coord.) as head coach...let them hire the rest of the staff. Sign Matt Cassel. We need to turn this franchise in a new direction and i think those are the guys to do it. What say you

Supposed to be a really good teammate. Has injury / concussion issues, which some say are why he has been blackballed from the league. Personally I think he'd be a good guy to have around. Knows how to win.

Does anybody know: 1. What the highest pick we can get? 2. What are the boundaries for him in terms of what range of yards/touchdowns/catches he has to get and what pick we get for that?

He's done great things for Joe Flacco and the Ravens offense has gotten better. Below is some stuff I dug up on Jackson. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hue_Jackson - Has been an offensive coordinator in the NFL (2007 with the Falcons and 2003 with Redskins) - Prior to getting that position, he was the Bengals highly regarded Wide-Receiving Coach (who helped developed Ocho Cinco, Henry, and Houshyourmama). - Before the Bengals, he worked as an Oline coach and OC with the Redskins Seems like a pretty solid hire. My only concern would be how he kept OC positions for such a short period of time, but you could also argue that he never really got a shot. …

http://chicagobearsfanforum.com/blog/?p=243 The Bears * Robbie Gould signed a contract that makes him the highest paid kicker in the NFL. Mike Mulligan of the Chicago Sun-Times has been claiming for some time that something like this was on the horizon because the Bears like to offset bad publicity (read “Cedric Benson”) with good news. Of course, we would all have rather had that good news be the signing of Tommie Harris. But we'll take what we can get. * Speaking of Harris. Message to Jerry Angelo: Give him what he wants. He's the center of your defense and, unlike Lance Briggs, he's not replaceable. Stop looking for an early si…

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/1000179...39;s-no-contest Ouch! Fox Sports HAMMERS Denver. Poor bastards.

The past TC showed us that Cutler had a preference for Brandon Rideau and Devin Aromashodu and during the first game Rideau was on his couch and DA was inactive I guess with Davis getting some playing time. Why would they decide to play Davis over DA?

Okay, I am looking at Scouts Incs top 32 prospects, and it appears we have numerous options coming our way. While I am not saying for a fact any of the following will be available, I think all are at least realistic. I am not listing the following positions, due to either a lack of value near our pick, or I simply do not see the argument for need: QB, RB, TE & LB. But in looking at need, as well as value... OT - Michael Oher - It seems absolutely shocking to list him, but everyone I read, his stock has fallen. I think he was considered for the top pick last year if he would have come out, but has simply watched his stock drop hard. While I have read his…

Bears trade picks #49 and #115 to Eagles for pick #28. 1. Eben Britton, RT, Arizona 1. Hakeem Nicks, WR, North Carolina 3. Victor Harris, CB, Virginia Tech 3. Phillip Hunt, DE, Houston 5. Louis Vazquez, OG, Texas Tech 6. Tony Fiammetta, FB, Syracuse 7. Mike Reilly, QB, Central Washington Thoughts? (somebody change date to 3-22)

Is 26 of 27 on field goals since leaving the Bears. Please tell me why we replaced him with Barth? Peace
