What do you guys think of the whole Jay Cutler nightlife fiasco that the media is currently playing out. I think the Chicago media (especially the papers) have no clue anymore. This is probably one of the biggest weeks were you can generate interest in your product by building up a buzz about the draft and prospects, but they failed to do so and instead make it out that it is "evil" to go out on your time and have a good time. No wonder they are losing out and eventually going to have to fold. I IMHO think that they will be better than they were last year due to Martz leaving and players back from injury. They were doing well at the mid point of the season having a few games I think without giving up a sack. Daniels was the best QB in college last year. He played in a pro style offense and is a great running option . I'm not sure who has the most upside on the QBs but he is the most ready to start in the NFL. Caleb is always popping out of the pocket and playing hero ball. Holds the ball to long. Didn't play as well against better opponents. Daniels was in the SEC. I'm going to keep looking at tape to,see who stands out more than the other.

He was released today by KC. Last year we offered him a contract but ended up back in KC. KC gave him a 2 year 10 mil contract last year. He had some injuries issues and only started 4 games. 2 years ago, he had 5.5 sacks and 36 Ts , 11 TFL, and 2 forced fumbles. since we had interest last year and he is only 28, I can see us going after him. What do you guys think.

No matter what metric you use, Johnson is near the top for all CBs this season. As much as I am on Pace about Kmet and other draft picks not to be named here, Johnson was a steal in the 2nd round. It almost makes Pace look dumb for not drafting Johnson first. I was just hoping for play equivalent to Prince, but Johnson has far exceeded that and at times has been the best DB on the team, which says a lot. If he keeps this up, he has a chance at Rookie, Pro-Bowl, and possibly All-Pro honors. He will need a few INTs to be in the All-Pro discussion, but he is right there right now in every other metric.

We've drafted a CB who is going to immediately fit right into this backfield. He might not be the most athletic (maybe more quick than fast) but listen to Bryant McFadden talk about what he brings to the table. This kid will be playing early this season. This is the kind of CB you want playing behind a good pass rush.
