Alright, who has 09 already. I want to get reviews before I go out and spend 50$ for it. I like 08 a LOT better than 07, but wanted to make sure the trend continues. Also, what'd they end up ranking the Bears for this season? And Grossman's rating, I'm just interested in if they brought it way down from the 08 season.

So we still need help at the G,C,QB, DT, LB and WR positions California C/G Brian Schwenke is scheduled to visit the Chicago Bears today .......and the Bears are one of two teams that have shown the most interest in free-agent QB JaMarcus Russell, we just signed defensive tackle Andre Fluellen, defensive end Kyle Moore and center Taylor Boggs. And we are bringing in Brown LB as well.....so this makes for and interesting draft. If we are filling all the spots we need help at then it maybe a playmaker at WR or CB with the first pick we have,,,but with the moves we are making...who knows right?

Obviously we would not trade down with them due to the fact the Chargers only have one pick in the first 3 rounds. Any trade would either be our 44th pick and first 3rd rounder; or 44, our second 3rd rounder, and another little something, perhaps a future pick.

Currently they have the Bears in the 2nd draft position and one "expert" has them taking Ole Miss DT Nkemdiche and the other "expert has them taking Cal QB Goff.I'm not sure I like either scenario.

Let's try this before drafting...

Lions visit Chicago for the late game on Sunday. Huge playoff implication matchup, esp. for the Bears. Lose, and the team is 5-4 and the Lions hold the head to head tiebreaker, meaning the Bears might well need 11 wins to make the playoffs...leaving them having to go 6-1 in their last 7 including a trip to Lambeau. Win, and the road to the playoffs opens up. Big game.

This franchise is done. The GM assembled the worst roster in the NFL. Changes need to be made, but there is no point doing it now, but they need to make changes after the TNF loss to WAS in 2 weeks. They will have 3 extra days for a new staff to figure something out. Coaches are the laughingstocks of the league. Battle of the Winless So here we go, after another loss, the Bears continue to grasp for answers. It feels like groundhog day as the team hasn't won in 12 months now. Both teams will consider the other as their get-right game. Whichever team loses, there season will be over because there won't be an easier team on their schedule than this the entire year. So, we're 2-2 and with a little better luck could easily be 4-0. Certainly the two games we've lost haven't been due to the play of the offensive line. Most odds makers have us as 7 point underdogs. What a perfect time to totally redeem ourselves. I think people are giving NE too much credit, they have wins against Minnesota, Oakland, Cincy, Buffalo, and the Jets. None of those wins were really impressive, and they barely beat OAK and NYJ. They lost to MIA and KC. They won't have their leading rusher (Ridley) and their leader in sacks (Jones). Controlling Gronk seems to be the key. I took a look at the roster and moves the team has made since the end of the season to see where the holes were in the 53-man roster to see where they will look next. Based on that, here are some positions they will address: 1. Safety - The team lost HHCD, McManis, and Houston-Carson this offseason, 3 of 5 opening day safeties. I think they have a chance to bring back Houston-Carson, and maybe even McManis, but right now the team is down 3 safeties, the most of any position group on the team. 2. Puka on IR, Kupp going to be limited at best if he doesn't miss the game. Rams playing in the late slot on Sunday, then having to travel from LA to CHI. So Bears are going to have a rest edge. Rams are one of the worst teams in the NFL, especially with the injuries. The Bears lost against the Colts, but the Colts didn't win the game. At 1-2, this becomes an early must win as falling to 1-3 starts makes a huge hole to dig out of so early in the season. I feel like the Bears will rebound and play much better with home cooking. I naturally thought the title of this would at least involve the word ‘movement’ as when I think of one, I instantly think of Rodgers. Where will Benson go, and what will it mean. Houston - No doubt they have a need. Ahman Green is only getting older and slower. They were even desperate enough to bring in Chris Brown. Houston has upgraded their OL over the last two years. They have a pretty good QB, with a pretty good backup. And they have one of the best WRs in the game. In Houston, Benson would have a shot to fight for a starting job, and if won, could actually have a chance to do well.
