Reported by local radio, etc. Everyone was kind of excited about him in preseason, before he went down. He's never been able to stay healthy though.

Now the oldest player on the Bears roster at 32, with only 7 players 30 and older. Porter and Royal are two of them and potential cuts this offseason. The only free agent we brought in this year over 30 was Demps.

There isn't a chance in hell that Zack Miller plays a single down this year. He may never play again, period. But the Bears signed him to a league minimum one year deal. A classy move on the Bears' part to help a player who gave them everything he had when healthy. I'd love to see him fulfill his dream of returning to the game, but have serious doubts it will be physically possible after that type of injury. 6. The Bears have waived Zah Fraizer CB. Missed 2025 season due to personal reasons. He was a 5th round pick in 2025 draft.

For the sake of my sanity I'm trying to make lite of this current situation by trying to laugh instead of scream. 1) Frank Omayele to defensive tackle: His anticipating the snap would have him in the opponents backfield on every down. 2) Stephen Paea to offensive guard: Why not he is not playing on defense so try him at guard he may become the next Mark Bortz. 2) Roy Williams to safety: Since he is basically invisible on offense he should help the Bears disguise some of their coverages in the secondary and with his hands he would lead the league inpasses defended. 4)Tyler Clutts to defensive end : He returns to his college position to help spell Pepper…

I imagine he's lost a lot...But the Colts got Landry, so they dropped Zib. I liked him a while back, but I'm not sure how I feel now.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...r-escape-to-ut/ Lovie would be wise to consider escape to UT Posted by Mike Florio on January 14, 2010 7:59 AM ET In 2008, the folks at the University of Tennessee reached out to Bears coach Lovie Smith to gauge his interest in becoming the head coach at the program where Smith worked in 1993 and 1994. Smith declined. Now, the UT job is open again -- and Smith will be occupying one of the hottest of the hot seats in Chicago when the 2010 season starts. Frankly, it might be in everyone's best interests for Smith to pursue the opportunity, unless he has no interest in leading a college program. The Bea…

  14. Looks like the odds will start at Bears -1.5 but they opened at -2.5, and it may change again with injury news. The Steelers are in the bottom half of the league for offense and defense. With the schedule about to get extremely tough, this becomes another game they need to win. Bears 27-20.

  15. I never would've thought that the Bears had a chance to be in a tie for the NFC with a win in this game, but here we are. I don't think they will win, probably a 7-10 pt loss, but I don't think they will get blown out. My first thought is something like 27-20 or 27-17, but if they get some players back from injury, the defense may look a lot different, and it will need to be against Barkley and PHI's offense. PHI has lost to NYG, and one score wins against MIN, GB, and DET in the last 6 weeks, so anything is possible. It will probably come down to turnovers and penalties. Since it is in PHI, they will have the edge with the officials for sure.

  16. Here we go. I don't think I would ever imagine that I would be talking about the 9-3 1st Place Chicago Bears playing the 8-3-1 Green Bay Packers in Week 14, but here we are. This is going to be another weather game with game time temps in the teens, chance of snow and some light wind. Until this team loses, it is hard to bet against them right now. I am going to say 24-20 Bears in another one-score game.
