This off-season my biggest cry was to fix the OL 1st. It was addressed in a big way with Williams, but has been ignored otherwise with a huge void in OG play. With our current situation playing out... I know I've been absent from the board for most of the season but work had called. I still have been fuming over what transpired the last 2 months or so. Here are the Top-10 things that need to happen prior to 2012 if we have any hope: 1. Jerry Angelo needs to go before the draft. Cole is reporting that Vincent Jackson has narrowed his choice to the Bears & Bucs. Take it for what it is worth. Note: I personally put little validity into these type of leaks because I assume they have to be coming from the players and their reps and they probably want to throw a few teams out there to push/drive the market. It's been a little quiet lately (besides reading the "great debates" by Wesson and Jason), so lets start a discussion on players that may surprise us a little by contributing more than we might expect in 2012. I'm gonna give an offensive and a defensive player that I think will make a mark on the 2012 season. Offensively, I think we will see some great plays this year and I hope Alshon Jeffery makes a mark, but the one guy I think that will surprise us all with making big plays is TE Evan Rodriguez. JaMarcus Webb is better than Chris Williams. The ceiling vs floor argument should be over, as Williams floor at LT is immensly low. He doesn't have the quickness, power or leverage to sustain blocks. Sure, he makes less mistakes than Webb, but it's not enough to overcome his shortcomings. Webb wins by default. That being said, we are in desparate need of an LG. Spencer makes too much money to have a roster spot. He takes a paycut or gets cut - IMO. Rachal was a wasted signing and should be cut. Carimi looked much better, with Garza an Louis remaining solid. I've been thinking about how we really don't know who's running the Bears. How is NE set up, you see Kraft on game day but is he hands off? GB what's their chain of command ? Baltimore how's theirs set up? Pittsburgh , are the Rooneys hands off?

Say what you will, but not bringing back Lance, trading Marshall...all seems to spell out that they are cleaning house. I fully expect no Tillman. I also now expect Cutler to be traded. There's no certainty...but damn the evidence is pointing to fire sale. Heck, they could even deal Forte at this point too. I'm all in. I get what they are doing. If Pace & Fox are thinking this is what's best, then I'm OK with it. Fox is loaded with experiences staff members and I'm sure their input is used. Bear down. I'm excited!
