I never liked him...screwed the Falcons over hard with this one. The poor Falcons are screwed...first Vick, then Petrino, and now Parcells...I wouldn't be surprised if the other owners voted them into the CFL!

I can see him being the outlet valve that our QB's need when the OL breaks down after 1 or 2 seconds. He isn't fast, but he can run routes and catch. Make him a possession guy and see if he can fill a Tom Waddle role, where if we need a catch on 3rd down he will make it.

That just tells me he would have stunk here...knowing Turner he would have just sent him on fly patterns every snap...Just like Wolfe up the gut from the 2 or that G**D**M bubble screen to Hester...I HATE that play!!

I disagree...they would have chosen Cadillac Williams who, while not being amazing, has been much better than Benson.

Yes Angelo has had some bad draft picks, but he has had some very good ones too, Briggs, Tillman, Vasher, Anderson...all On D of course but it hasn't been all bad. That being said he needs to be fired right after the pick if our 1st rounder is not an OL

I pick Orton. He will improve over the next 2 weeks. I think we will draft a QB and Orton will be the starter next year. If we get Derek Anderson (doubtful) then he is the guy. But of teh 3 we have I go Kyle.

My biggest problem with Grossman is that he runs backwards...it isn't his height (look at Doug Flutie) it is just his mentality. He bails backwards and turns a 5 yard sack into a 10 yard sack. I didn't like the pick when we made it and I still don't like him as a QB. I will admit that this year is not his fault (see Turner and Oline for the top culprits) but I just don't like the guy as an NFL QB.

Agreed...I saw Orton step up in the pocket tonight...something I don't think I have seen Rex do since his first injury his rookie year. That alone earns him a start next week in my book.
