  1. I could be wrong, but I thought Long left the Tampa game with an injury. He came back in, but maybe he is hurt more than we know.
  2. Looking over the team, we have turned it around. We were a dropped INT from being 4-0. For being short on draft picks next year, it is actually fine. Sure we will need and miss them, but I am beyond happy with were they were spent. Next years class will hopefully add the same.
  3. I would be all for it. They need a youngster to take the reins from Massie, who has years left but would give cap relief. Daniel's looked the part on his appearances Sunday. His mobility almost makes me think he would be more beneficial at guard, but that time will come next season when they decide.
  4. Now every OT will be sending friend requests to Rahaad wanting his tips to stop him ??
  5. It is great we have not only starters to be excited about, but also youth/depth. Nichols, Iggy, Tolliver, and hopefully Fitts will all be big pieces of this team in 2-3 years down the road. We still see a lot of second guesses on fans thought of Pace, but I think he has done a good job turning this franchise around. It is a process and it is finally starting to show.
  6. 4000 no shows. People were leaving mid 4th early too. Guess they wanted to watch the Cubs?
  7. So happy to see this before the bye. The naysaying can be put to rest for a while on Trubisky.
  8. Patting myself on the back Soldierfiled is electric right now!
  9. Watching some Notre Dame and Stanford football and the draft hit my mind. With our resources limited the next year or two with higher picks, do you see the Bears trying to extend or re-sign Massie at RT? I know a few, like myself would live to see us draft a long term solution, but Massie could buy us a couple years and keep continuity. We have a nice developmental project in Cowherd (sp) also. Thoughts?
  10. Get to see this one in the stadium. Hope the D is up for the air attack they will bring. Trubisky will see pressure, but they give up a lot of yards in the air too. Hope to see Tru's coming out party to finish the season 1st qtr on a high note.
  11. Cool in a way, he has our house as his biggest nemesis. We are getting closer, but still haven't been able to bring him down. When he returns, hopefully we are full speed and what we saw in the first half game one will be 4 quarters every game here on out.
  12. If Wims was on a college team that relied more on the passing attack, he would have been more highly sought. We got a potential steal, but he has more learning to do. Speaking of Ridley, his brother plays for Georgia and was considered their best prospect but I saw more out of Wims. Wims was clutch and strong. I'm ok letting him learn more if that is how Nagy and Furer see it, but cannot wait until he gets his turn.
  13. First place, first place, first place, first place. Dang that feels good. Makes that game easier to swallow
  14. The bye week cannot get here soon enough. They need a healthy Shaheen, love to see Nall elevated, and rethink how to game plan the offense.
  15. He is actually regressing imo. I really think Nagy needs to simplify things more. Let him build himself up until he gets his confidence.
  16. It's a combo of the QB but damn you have Howard and he is hungry. Lean on him more
  17. I am laying more blame on Nagy. Too damn cute with the plays. You have Howard and a decent oline. Let them boys wear the d down and get a damn TD
  18. Miller back in the game and Trubisky struggles continue.

    Crazy Stat

Crazy how good they are and how much more improved they will be once Mack is fully conditioned. Get Floyd had healthy and Roquan conditioned and up to speed and good night.
  20. I believe it. Many Chicagoans transplanted to the Phoenix area. Wish Dennis Green was still the coach because I loved that press conference. One of my all time favorite Bear moments.
