  1. The bad part about Brown is he lacks love for the game. His interviews at the combine brought that up. He only wants to work to provide. He may end up great?
  2. You, me, Jason and the rest of us. I think he can be better than Shelton if it wasn't for back issues.
  3. If the Bears drafted Shelton, it would have been Jokim Noah all over again. What's up with that outfit?
  4. Did that Jets pick take the wind out of anyone else? I like the White pick, but the anticipation of Williams being there had me buzzing.
  5. Shelton has shorter arms and struggled against tougher olinemen. His value is 10-19.
  6. The McCaskeys had it in for Marshall. I don't think Pace had much say. It was reported before Pace was hired that Marshall was gone. He must have to Ed and Virginia to f off.
  7. Can't go wrong taking BPA. Shelton would've been a reach. Beasley would've been a liability against the run. White is big and fast, and let's give Cutler a little faith though it's undeserving. Now let's get some help for the defense.
  8. He knows 4 routes. Lot of work for this kid. Hope he becomes a monster. Bear down.
  9. Wow, Pace better have his head on tight. Don't think Jets take Williams.
  10. The rumor is dead. Thought it was dumb and would've dug a deeper hole. Good riddance.
  11. I picked Beasley as my pick, but have a hunch Shelton is our guy. Biggs said the Bears have gotten very tight lipped on Shelton...so tight that it is telling. Brad Biggs is pretty bright and the guy could be a building block on a 3-4.
  12. What I am thinking Is: 1-Winston 2-Mariota 3-Fowler 4-Cooper 5- Williams 6-White 7=? Scherff, Beasley, Shelton, Waynes, Dupree, Peat? Hopefully Fowler, Williams, or Cooper fall. White is some what in that 2nd tier to me. Beasley in almost in the upper tier, but like Jason says do we need more OLB's. If only Ronnie Stanley declared for the draft this year instead of going back to Notre Dame.
  13. I am not too thrilled with our slot. Sure 7 is great, but the guys I want won't be there...most likely. There is a handful of other players I like also, but feel at 7 they would be taken to high. I am excited as always and thinking of taking the train downtown Saturday. The days of sitting in front of the computer and tv all day seem to have faded.
  14. My tops: New Orleans Cleveland Tampa Bay New York Jets --- Tennessee Jacksonville
  15. Great work Adam on keeping this going! It was fun to follow other teams needs.
  16. They can always move Houston/McPhee to DE and after 2015, we most likely not re-sign McClellin, Allen, Young, Washington. So OLB will be a need eventually. I know it is not a need or likeable pick this year, but next year it may be a big need.
  17. Your fellow beartalk bro's put it to you. Might need another CB since Ifo's knee may have him sidelined like SF RB Marcus Lattimore. Been reading reports that the knee might be worse than thought. If those reports are false, yes Ifo was a first RD prospect. recommendations Marcus Hardison DT/DE Henry Anderson DE Alex Carter CB James Sample SS Gabe Wright DT
  18. My guess is Vic Beasley. Because with Ray and Gregory hurting their stock, Cooper, White, Fowler and Williams go along with the QBs. Beasley is highly rated and too high to pass as bpa. If they can trade down, then it is a few spots down only.
  19. With 103rd pick, the Jacksonville Jaguars select LB Kwon Alexander, LSU. Alexander is not you traditional LB but will provide a pass rush. Killakrzydav and NYJ are on the clock.
  20. That is for next year, teams have until 05/01 or something to decide if they will pick up his 5th year option. At 7.5 million, do you blame the Bears for not?
  21. He also has a stress fracture in his foot now. Have to have a sharp medical staff to keep an eye on these guys.
  22. Even though I do not see Jordan Phillips making it out of the first round, I would be thrilled to take him round 2. I don't know much about AJ Cann, has he played OT at all in college and projects best at OG? Most teams like versatility in there lineman. I think Clemmings or Ogbuehi would be gems if they fall to round 3.
  23. Depends on what type of front you want to run, a 2 gap NT frees up one ILBs. It is not necessary, but a bonus.
  24. Phillips is the only guy besides Shelton that I think can be a pure 3-4 NT that plays a 2 gap. I think if he makes it to NE, they draft him to replace Wilfork.
  25. Players do not have to be boy scouts, but breaking the rules cost being able to play in games. Where do you draw the line?
