I do like that mock also.

With the 98th pick in the 3rd RD, the Kansas City Chiefs select ILB Taiwan Jones MSU. Kansas has rebuilt their o-line: Erick Flowers and Eric Fisher will man the OTs, Ben Grubbs and Paul Fanaika G's, and Hronis Grasu at C. Tre McBride WR will get a shot at the #2 opposite of Maclin. Taiwan Jones will has a good shot starting in the middle with Derrick Johnson. Cincy and Mongo are on the clock.

Might be able to add Shane Ray to RD2 picks. He just got pulled over with pot, how stupid can you be.

This mock by far has got me the most excited. Sure we missed on Oline, but defensively this would be a great building block. I would be happy with this outcome. 1-7 Amari Cooper WR - Hands down the safest 1000yd/yr capable prospect 2-39 Landon Collins SS- Marked as the best S in the draft but he is a tweener FS/SS. 3-71 Xavier Cooper DE/DT- Projects as a 3-4 DE, which after McDonald, Jenkins, and maybe Houston theres not much depth. 4-106 Marcus Golden OLB- pass rushing talent to step in 2016 5-142 Durrell Eskridge FS-big physical FS who could step in 6-183 Ladarious Gunter CB- nice size and speed to develop

I don't want Mariota. He might have some good characteristics, but I think he is too big of an unknown if he can develop his skills to the NFL. I do not want Shane Ray or Randy Gregory,( and Beasley is almost in this category.) I think they will be liabilities in the run game. If they Bears were a dominant team, adding their speed would be great. The Bears are not dominant and teams will run at them. Brandon Scherf, yes he is mean and a road grader but #7 is too high for a probowl G. He could be a decent RT, but I think G is were he excels. That leaves Winston, Williams, Fowler, Cooper and White and my sleeper pick Bud Dupree who may sneak into the top 7. Narrowing down this group, I hope Cooper falls, then Williams, and White or a trade down happens.

With the 91st pick, the Dallas Cowboys select DE Za'Darious Smith Kentucky. With Hardy out for 10 games, Marinelli gets a raw disrupter to discipline. He has a future 3T with Michael Bennett and a Jason Pierre-Paul clone in Smith. Denver is on the clock.... (Stinger)

And they drafted Monte Ball pretty high to hopefully be their hot hand.

The Bears biggest defensive needs are a two gap NT (Shelton), 2 Safeties, and a CB. Sure they can get by with smaller D lineman, but the key to being a great 3-4 is the ability to disquise your blitzes better. With Ratliff or Ego playing NT, teams will know they are one gap and a LB will take the other gap. Having a two gap NT will open a gap responsibility and free an extra LB adding pressure to the QB to avoid an INT to a free LB or getting sacked from an extra rusher. Two safeties in this weak class. I really like Eric Rowe from Utah, played both cb/s and is climbing the boards. It would be too high to grab him round 2, so if he is their rd3, I think he is our guy. Round 2, I'd like to get an OT or WR if we are lucky, TJ Clemming, Jake Fisher, or Cedric Ogbuehi are 3 guys to keep an eye on. WR there should be a handful. Round 4, might be a good round to take a flier on a developmental S, Prewitt, Derron Smith, Anthony Harris, Darrell Eskridge, or Campbell. One week from now the anticipation turns to reality.

I would make that trade in a heartbeat. At 12 I would take Danny Shelton NT and at 19 Landon Collins S.
-
With the 83rd pick, the San Diego Chargers select OT Ty Sambrailo Stinger and the Philadelphia Eagles are on the clock.
-
It would be something else if he drops. Would be a huge piece to the front, like Shelton too imo. Have to take the highest ranking though.
-
Not sure what talent they have at 3-4 DE beside McDonald and Jenkins. I think Ego, Ratliff, Sutton will line up there. If Houston doesn't come in OLB shape, he could possible play there. The 3-4DE is a glorified DT. Jared Allen and Willie Young will be OLBs unless the add 20-40 lbs. I think a DE is a need since McDonald is hanging on a thread, Jenkins is unknown, Ratliff is getting fragile, Sutton is not a typical 3-4 fit. OLB is overly crowded imo. I can see a few trades if we can get late rd picks for Young, Sutton, or Washington.

With the 80th pick, The Kansas City Chiefs select WR Tre McBride. Buffalo is on the clock....(Adam)

The guy I like the most is Danny Shelton, but we know a NT rarely goes top 10. After that is Amari Cooper, I think he would become the go to guy. Third is Kevin White, I see him as Andre Johnson #2. Too bad we didn't have #7 in the 2016 draft, as I see better QBs, LOT, and S' s in that draft. We may hit a choice of a QB falling at #7. Would the Bears draft one? Can we trade down? Maybe we take a pass rusher then?
-
With their 3rd pick, Jacksoville finds a feature RB, Duke Johnson. Oak and SCS is on the clock.
-
My exact thoughts. Next years class will have 10-15 prospects. We can double up like Washington did if we choose. Bring in talent this draft like a WR and defensive studs. Next draft bring in the QB and take OT rd 2 if we don't land one this draft.
-
With Long and Slaussen at Guard and Ducasse, Groy, and Ola as back ups, do you really think G is a need. I think if they draft Oline, OT and C are bigger needs. Now if they do move Long outside, I see the reasoning.
-
I hope they don't invest more picks on either of these QBs. If one falls to 7, so be it. They will have a shot at a QB next draft. Save your draft picks to bring in youth.

With the 60th pick in the 2015 draft, the Dallas Cowboys select: Michael Bennett DT Ohio St. Mongo is on the clock with the Indianapolis Colts...
-
Watching espn draft academy. Guess who's on it? Before the commercial, he was quoted as saying how he wants to prove that he is more than a one trick pony. I've never seen tape on him, so I take your word and I'll watch his spot on this show. A RB that intrigues me is John Crockett NDSU, 6' 217 catches fluid and runs well.
-
Safety almost eliminates itself with the available talent. Wherever we draft one, they will be a project imo. Looks like WR a d OT. But what if Cooper and White are both gone?
-
That is from cbs sports draft profiles, not my assessment. I lean on that site for player breakdowns.
-
I could not live with that... . I don't like what I've read on Devin Smith WR and do we really need another project QB? They really do not turn out unless you put in time and effort. I don't think we ever made one of our QB picks a priority to develop. Devin Smith has the speed to get separation fast vertically, but is also inconsistent at tracking the ball. His routes are unproven. His speed is mainly straight-line speed and his lean frame is nearly maxed out.

With the 49th pick of the 2015 NFL draft, the KC Chiefs select....C Hronis Grasu Oregon. Grasu will replace the loss of Rodney Hudson who went to Oak and the offensive line has been addressed. The Buffalo Bills (Adam) are now on the clock....

With the 48th pick of the NFL draft, the San Diego Chargers select: Jordan Phillips NT Oklahoma The Chargers add two key pieces to their 3-4 defense, Shane Ray to attack from the edge and Phillips to use his big body to tie up the middle.
