  1. Unlike you I put my foot in my mouth all the time, you should engage more. I'm one of the last percieved jerks on here. I liked to jack with people on comments but more to be playful that being a jerk. Its all about perception, just like different coaches with different personalities. Some engage and some are laid back like you.
  2. I think these days that is hard to buy. In the past it absolutely was the case. For that to be the case, 32 teams would have to meet and say , forget him he's black. Are there a few old bigots, sure there is, but for 32 teams to get together and say let's choose Lovie ( 3 times) , but Beineimy is black ? As these guys stated its about personality . Lovie, Demarco, Tomlin, they command a room when they walk in it, if Beieneimy is quiet not very energetic, it shows up in an interview. Doesn't have anything to do with how he may coach but how he projects himself to the public.
  3. In 2019= 238 passes, 67℅, 3273 yards, 41 TDs, 3 int. I think he can pass. The covid year screwed up his development and then the Nagy fiasco. Last year was his first development session. Year 2 is coming.
  4. Even if they take Williams, they have pick 12 for another prospect. Anthony Richardson falls around there or Henson Hooker in the second.
  5. At the QB position, Fields deserves to be ranked but not because of passing. Next year, ill say he takes a step, 3500- 28-11. 800 rushing with 8 tds..
  6. The shady sports journalists will do that for us, just to keep clicks coming their way. Eric Lambert just did a mock draft trading Fields to Seattle and drafting Young. Getting one an extra first. How stupid is that.
  7. That's the only one that's makes sense. They save2.7 mil, the young backups have a higher upside than Vildor does at minimal contracts. They will target someone in Free agency but not at a high dollar to compete.
  8. So who gets cut next? I don't think it's Whitehair or Patrick. Poles won't cut them until he has a replacement.
  9. Totally, he must not communicate well because he is a creditable candidate.
  10. I think Bobby Okereke/ LB is coming here. Literally he said he wants to go a team with good coaches and a scheme fit for his talent. Played under Flus. He hasn't resigned Morrow yet, so I believe he would have done that if he wanted him back.
  11. Dean will be the highest paid free agent CB this year, that's not where Poles will spend the money. He did list CB as one of his premium positions thou. OL , pass rushers and CB was his mentions. With having the defensive backfield intact and some backups with upside, not sure that is a priority. We can use an upgrade at every position but think he's line building this year. I think he will draft one but not high.
  12. He had 7 sacks the previous year, so getting a player that knew the system and had decent production seemed like a logical move. It didn't work out. Harry was drafted in the first round by the Patriots, sometimes moves don't work out. The most important thing is Poles doesn't marry players, if they don't produce, goodbye. ESB was brought in last year because of a connection with Getsy. He got another contract by just being okay.
  13. Wasn't sure where to stick this, so here we are. The Bears announced they are releasing All Quad in Muhammad. He never produced and Poles left an out. 1/2 mil dead money and we add almost 4 mil to the cap. We are going to see roster moves as Poles evaluates the roster.
  14. I like OTC over spotrac, easier to navigate.
  15. Maybe, lots of larger edges available in this draft. If we trade back a couple of times and end up with Tyree Wilson, I'm still a happy camper. lots of options when you have a # 1 pick. I trust Poles to evaluate talent. Him and Cunningham come from good drafting teams so I suspect they know what to look for. If we had Tyree Wilson, TreMont Jones, Siaki Ika, Will McDonald . I'm ecstatic
  16. Anderson is as close a clone as you can get to Micah Parsons. Anyone here saying they wouldn't take Parsons because he lacks the size to play DE in this scheme?
  17. We have a year to find out how good Fields will be. Logically we should have 2 1st rounders next year, if we need to move up to grab A QB. Fields will take a leap forward.
  18. Granted, neither did Josh Allen. I don't think his release is slow , I think his decision to when he needs to throw it is the problem. Lack of trust in WRs makes him hesitate on his throws. I think he waits for WRs to get open more and takes to long to decide to throw. He improved this year but has a lot farther to go. Highlight films are sometimes misleading because it shows his good decisions but watch them anyways because it shows you what he is capable of.
  19. I also think Payne doesn't make free agency. Here is our best DT options. https://youtu.be/DEjJid36Emw
  20. He totally ain't trading Justin. All these so called experts suggesting that is just for attention. No one is offering 4 first round picks for him either.
  21. JSN is my favorite choice but don't believe Poles would take him in the first round. Payne is a talent but look who he plays with Sweat, Young , and Allen. Is his production because of the attention he doesn't get? Tremont Jones doesn't have anybody and is productive and will cost 10 mil less.
  22. I could see Poles bringing in a RT and then going with Patrick or Kramer at C and drafting Mauch. Then if that fails make Mauch the OC. I seen where a bear scout said to Briggs that the bears have 2 players rated higher at center than Schmitz. I believe that to be Mauch and Avila. Also don't count out Joe Tippmann as being a desirable get.
  23. All the draftable Qbs are just ( might be good) prospects. Justin Fields has leadership , uncanny speed and power for a QB, great runner, strong arm, size and great work ethic. Young appears to be a good QB as far as skills, but his size leaves to many questions for durability. If your betting on futures , Justin is easily your best option. Poles is running with Fields and expects him to take a step up this year. Why would he want to build a culture and then tear it down by getting rid of your best leader? Sports journalists are just trying to get attention by suggesting we trade him.
  24. Seen a story where after the senior bowl, we had private meetings with Mauch and Avelia ( OL). I can see us taking one of them with pick 54 or 63. I don't think they count on them to be a starter but ready if a starter fails.
  25. The first step is who do we bring back before free agency starts? They jumped out on ESB but that was all besides some futures contracts. That means they are evaluating upgrades at all positions. Still could bring back a few but must not be sold on our current free agents.
