  1. I will be mad if we dont take the BPA at a defensive need. Pryor,HaHa,Donald,Gilbert,Mosely are all valve picks at 14 and wont have any problem with any of them. Hageman, Truitt are rated as more of later in the first round picks. If we trade back and grab one of them or a Kyle Fuller, Im good with all that.
  2. At 78 Dallas selects Will Clarke/DE, a little reach but has upside
  3. With the 71st pick Cleveland takes Carlos Hyde/ RB- THE Ohio State u
  4. With the 68th pick, Atlanta takes Kareem Martin/DE---the need to upgrade the passrush.... Who's next
  5. I watched 3 games of Borland, he didnt stand out for me. Im changing my position on him. I think I would rather see a more athletic player for that spot Zumwalt or a Bullough. Mosely is the best MLB in the draft.
  6. Briggs needs to be healthy for us to be legitimate on defense. His health has been brought up before. Actually the shoulder not being up to par came from his mouth in an interview. As you stated before, he was cleared to play and play like dog shit he did. There is plenty of time for him to get where he needs to be but it does raise the question of when he falls off the ladder, physically. He is at that age where it can be overnight. With all we have added to the defense so far, LB doesnt have much depth. With Williams injury history and poor play of the rookies, Briggs needs to be playing for a new contract, and I hope he is what he use to be. Our first two picks need to be S and DT in any order. S is a weaker position so Im up for Pryor. I honestly dont think Donald will be there, you have the Giants, Dallas moving up, and dont put it past Lovie to grab Donald. If the QBs dont get a run on early, we are talking about Gilbert,Donald and HaHa being gone. There is no other DT worthy of 14, if we trade back, Hageman, Truitt come into play. I dont see Jerringan as a viable valve at 14. I think we end up trading back and grab, hopefully Pryor,or a Ward, possibly Bucannon late in the round. I think by the time 51 gets there the only 4 potential starters at S will be gone. You like the 5-8 safety, but I dont think he is a starter. The only other way we may go for a starting S is grab a CB/S like McGill,Exum or a Huff that could be a later round surprise that could play there.
  7. I dont think Emery is broadcasting to the NFL what he's doing in the draft. I like all the names, but Donald and Quarles would play the same position, so if he got another DT, I think it would be a NT type.(Justin Ellis)?
  8. With the 63rd pick Denver takes Jordan Zumwatt/ lb----- they shore up the middle of there defense.
  9. Every year there are (football players) that dont get there accolades because of the premium people put on the athletic traits of a player. There's many more examples where the (football player) has made it in the NFL instead of the stud athletic. We do need to add a MLB to the mix. Williams can fill the position but hasnt been a full time starter since 2011 due to injuries and suspensions.Lets say Briggs is still hurt and cant start. Can we feel good if Bostic, Williams and SCM are our starters on day 1 one of the season? S and then DT are our major needs, but dont discount our need at LB. If the surprise pic that Emery delivers to us this year is Mosely with our first pick, it will not be received well by this group.I will have no problem with that pic. I think he will be a tackle machine for years to come, and once the rest of you see him play for a year, there will be tons of fans on this site. I think we need to go S first for the sake of a weak class, and as Emery stated he wants to draft a starter with that first pick. A CB as a high pick wont start day one unless there is injury. DT will be a rotational guy, Safety almost is a guarantee, but a MLB could fill that spot. Borland would be a sneaky good pick in the 3rd or 4th round, but Mosely is the only bonified starter we could draft and that could be the first day.
  10. The Colts have some weak spots on the offensive line they need to address. So The Indy Colts pick -----Travis Swanson/OC---they need to upgrade their center position as a 4th round rookie played the position last year. Carolina(Adam) is on the clock.
  11. Today at his news conference Emery talked about he was comfortable with 6 players to take with his 14th pick. so here is my list, I think he has Donald- no brainer, but the best DT in the draft probably wont be there at 14-history tells us that HaHa and Pryor are two high rated Ss that fill a need Gilbert and I believe Fuller are the CBs that is on his list. I think Fuller instead of Dennard because he is closer of a Tillman like CB. And the last is C.J. Mosely-He is a high rated LB that I think Emery will consider taking with our 14th pick. I personally think we will trade back and get a couple of extra picks So my later in the draft list: Fuller Pryor Ward Hageman Truitt So its your turn
  12. The one out of that group that has any shot of being a starter, would be Exum. His injury took him down but is a sneaky pick to succeed.
  13. You could live with it, everything with you is predicated on Donald. Chances of him being there are pretty slim. So I guess you will turn off the draft if he aint there.

  15. Here is a draft from Windy city gridiron. I love the first 3 but will the lose of picks, it would end up being not good. No RB prospect(a must) , QB prospect( not of great impotance), and not enough bodies for the youth movement. http://www.chatsports.com/chicago-bears/a/...ft-40-2-9753505
  16. Having that situation would be unique but as the draft as shown, all the good Ss are gone. Two good prospects in the line probably bodes well over all, but failing to get a starting safety would not be a good thing.
  17. Why do you dislike Miller? I think he's pretty sharp. Two years ago , he rated Jeffery as the top WR, and guess what-he was right.
  18. Its time for the Cardinals to pick: Austin Seferian-Jenkins TE. they need help along the front line, but Austin is to good to pass up at this point of the draft. Jason and the Puckers are on the clock.
  19. Way to go ,, that was my next pick wieniey. So now Dallas has to go with bucannon/ S . Somebody is on the clock
  20. I wouldn't bet on it, being a stud athlete, often turns into a roster cut. Players usually show progress, haven't seen any
  21. With all the crap that floats around the NFL, this is chum change.
  22. He had a lot of those moments.
  23. Jernigan, is a good valve at this spot of the draft, and its Lovie, defense, defense defense.
  24. Draft gurus are all over the place after the first 10 to 15 players, so there is no certainty on picks. Does anybody believe Kyle Long was a first round pick, until we made him one. Hell no. After the first round, GMs draft according to their board, not mock drafts. I have a tendency to like the ex scouts, and what they have to say. Draft sites like, GBNF,Our lads, Draft countdown. I also like Matt Millers opinions. And all of these are wrong most of the time. I think the ones that tell you who the top 30 are, not necessarily to the right teams, are the smart ones. Early second isnt considered a good valve, but I think he will be a very good player. If he becomes a strarter in the NFL and is above average in his play, that's not to early.
