I looked at some stats today and found a nugget of interesting data. But first, what does the media spew out all the time about "Lovie Smith's defense"? OMG! They're going to strip the ball. They're going to get turnovers. Well, guess what? They're tied for 13th in the NFL in terms of forced fumbles with 14. And on top of that, only three teams in the top 16 recover less of those forced fumbles. >TEAM FF REC PER KC 15 16 106.67% DEN 14 13 92.86% PHI 23 21 91.30% NYJ 18 16 88.89% BUF 15 13 86.67% PIT 19 15 78.95% ARI 14 11 78.57% TEN 17 12 70.59% MIA 18 12 …

@RapSheet Carl Poston, Charles Woodson's agent, tells me: "They're getting ready to release him. It's part of the business." Thank god, dude has been a thorn in our side for years now.

Among this WR class Claypool is way down the list and is ranked as a 4-6th Rd pick. As a WR he's not really running away from anyone but he's still got good enough speed to get deep. At 6'4" and reportedly around 230lbs is he a good fit for the U-TE position Burton plays?

For those who want Chase Daniel.. RT @JasonLaCanfora: Continue to hear a strong buzz about Chase Daniel. Teams think he'll get $3M-plus a year. Lot of clubs in a shallow QB market ... Yuck. No thanks.

Chase Daniels was on the Bear Report today which is on 670 the Score. I believe the Bears nailed this signing just by the way he spoke. He knows his role is to help prepare Mitchel Trubisky and he is fully engulfed. He spoke with certainties about how he wants things done and talked strongly on how advanced Mitchel already is. He learned from sitting behind Brees and Alex Smith. I believe the transition will go great since Chase already knows and understands Nagy and he can fill the gaps for Mitchel. Also I took note on how important and it was stressed about having a strong run game. With the way it was stressed, do not count out the Bears drafting a RB. It wasn'…

Apparently Mike Florio is reporting trade talks for Young are heating up. I’m looking for links to support that.

My best draft memories were being on the old site when: 1. The debate when we drafted Ced Benson over Mike Williams when guys were so pissed they were ready to travel cross country to kill each other, and 2. The following year when we traded out of the 1st two take Hester & Manning. Some were ready to burn down Halas. The Super Bowl seemed to lighten everyone up. Everyone was happy with Olsen and then Williams the following year. Either way, it doesn't feel like a draft unless someone calls JA a dirty rotten worthless cock-sucker. I'll be in the chat room all night and tomorrow. (I'm continuing my Al Bundy vacation in the garage with the Bud L…

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_...?urn=nfl-wp8200 Please read the comments. I'm 100% certain, those comments are not all Bears fans. Just fans of football and the man. I've heard many of the stories mentioned in the article. It just reads so salaciously and like tabloid trash. It's all out of context, assuming it's all even true. And I've heard others. But, I really see nothing greivous...just issues that eveyday people deal with all the time. It's sad, this will tarich his image. However, i think only for a moment. Once this clown writer is done with his 15 minutes of fame. All this will be pushed aside and the positives will come back to…
