In this game it became clearly obvious that Lovie Smith has lost this team. Ron Turner ran four consecutive plays up the gut for no gain when the Bears clearly should have gone up 14-3 in the second quarter. The next play run by the Vikings goes quickly for a 99 yard TD reception to Berrian of all people is pretty sad. Shows that the defense was not completely thinking about all the scenarios that were possibly coming at them. I mean, he is a freakin DT. Where on earth will this end? Look at where is gotten to in the last 10 yrs. Bruce Smith made 2.2M 10 yrs ago. He was a premier player. Dwight Freeney got his deal last yr at 6 yrs 72M, 30 guaranteed. This off-season my biggest cry was to fix the OL 1st. It was addressed in a big way with Williams, but has been ignored otherwise with a huge void in OG play. Funny that this game is on Halloween because it is going to be scary bad. It's pretty telling that a 2-4 team is favored on the road against a 3-4 team. Vegas has zero faith in the Bears. This is a must win, beat the teams you are supposed to beat. Bradford is brutal and probably won't last a quarter. Johnson does not look the same since coming back from injury and Fitzgerald is the only receiving threat. I want to see a full game this time, with significant progress for the offense and Trubisky. After seeing Mayfield come in and play like he did, there are no more excuses for Trubisky, especially against this defense.
