This will be the 2nd consecutive year we haven't drafted before the 3rd round. I have no regrets about the Cutler deal, but it's time to start stock-piling picks again. Ok, we are about to start the real offseason and based on the latest moves, here are my updated game predictions: 1: vs 49ers (WIN, the Bears almost beat them with Nagy's offense, Fields will beat Lance) 2: at GB SNF (LOSS, this will be a close game but GB is still better) 3: Texans (WIN, a terrible roster, this will be an easy win) 4: at NYG (WIN, Daniel Jones is still the QB, a 3-1 start is possible) 5: at Vikings (LOSS, I have Bears splitting, could be a win here and loss later) 6: Commanders TNF (WIN, Chase Young tore his ACL and was their best player, I doubt he plays or if he does, won't be his old self) 7: at Patriots MNF (LOSS, this one …

I'm sure that it's an oversight somehow, but the Bearstalk2 league only has 4 teams signed up and the draft is tonight at 8:00pm CST. Sure it's a pain that it's at the same time as the Bears game, but I don't think it can be changed now. So, please sign up folks or even point others in that direction just to get more teams. Chris Mortensen just reported on SC that he has been the most impressive QB at the Pro Bowl. He has a rocket arm, and great physical tools, like his 6'6 height. We still need to address our offensive line? Who is out there? Use our 3rd round pick on this? Will they trade Olsen for a higher pick to address the O-line? Why didn't they go after Bolden? Is someone else out there? I'm still not confident with our lack of a go-to recieiver. I tried to include most of the top picks, even though most would be out of reach for the Bears with their current position. Which player would be the biggest upgrade over the current player? McFadden over Benson? Ryan over Grossman? Dorsey over DT2 rotation? Long/Clady over Miller? Sweed over Berrian? 10 choices was the max, so there may be other players that are not listed.

At this point, the job appears to be Orton's to lose because he has less of a chance of losing games. Just watched a video where they said Whitehair was definitely playing inside at OG. Maybe C. I'm not sure about this pick now. Is he a Slausson replacement? Is he a Grassu replacement? Doesn't matter the scenario, there is one problem remaining... No LT to push Leno. Leno may end up being the worst starting position player on the team this year, and that's not something you want in your LT.

I feel like if there is going to be a surprise on offense, it is probably going to be one of the new WRs. However, after hearing about Getsy's offense, and the commitment to the run game and play-action, I think Khalil Herbert may be a breakout candidate as well. It seems like the schene fits him much better than Monty. Additionally, I could see Monty as a potential trade candidate at the deadline as they won't get any comp picks if they bring on several FAs next offseason. Thoughts?

If he is having to ice and sit out that would lead me to believe that his knee is not 100%. I hurt my knee but needed surgery. My knee was never the same. I also hurt my knee another time that only required rehab. After rehab once I was 100% i never missed anything or had to ice. My knee was 100%. Hope his knee holds up this season Edit= Starting to get worried. Hope it is nothing.
