CHris Harris's latest tweet @ChrisHarrisNFL Chris Harris Whether right, wrong or indifferent I'm pretty sure all of u have or will asked ur boss for a raise. This is no different. Get over it --------------------------- Normal people cant even be sure they will have a job come Monday morning. Regardless of performance. The fact of he matter is that 75% of NFL players are totally average/replaceable. Love the Sport and Love the Bears but man these guys have no sense of reality. Lance Briggs signed a contract for 6M a year on average front-loaded. What the hell.....

Trade bait: Roster cuts from 80 to 75 are due Tuesday and teams are beginning to call around to see what might be available. A league source said the Bears have informed other clubs that running back Garrett Wolfe and safety Al Afalava could be traded. That doesn't mean they will be or they're destined to be released, but the fishing line has been cast. Wolfe is in competition with Kahlil Bell for the third running back job. Bell has been staying after practice to get extra special teams work in this week. The third running back must be a four-phase special teams contributor and Wolfe has been a good one. "It's definitely a different type of challenge, tryi…

Well, it's about time to start this discussion back up. We probably have a minor signing or two left, but otherwise the team is set. Remember, please do not submit another mock. No trades. Both include too many what-if scenarios. I'll fire up a mock, then everyone chime in with your thoughts, suggestions, recommendations, etc. List the players you hate at the round mocked, where you think specific positions need to be addressed. I'll try to stay out of it for the most part, and I'm trying not to interject what I want. I'm putting what I think the Bears might do based on their moves this offseason. This is the previous draft we all agreed upon: MOCK …

It seems the Williams brothers will be playing against us and I think our best way to defeat them is to wear them down by using the no-huddle offense quite a bit during the game.

After Cutler came out and made statements about the OLine, Webb told the press he would be ready to play that all off season he has been "eating and drinking football" and has Cutlers back. It thats the case, last year he must have been on a fasting diet.

  10. Sometimes, teams make moves and you get the sense that the team is genuinely, enthusiasticlaly behind the move. When the Bulls got Derrick Rose, everyone, no matter who you talked to on the team, was visibly thrilled and he had respect from day one. Every Bear I have heard speak about the trade has brought up, even when not prompted, that they really believed in Kyle Orton as QB and are sorry to see him go. Cutler's not going to be handed anything by this team. One hopes that changes the moment he throws a 60 yard bomb on the money, but if he thinks that making the Pro Bowl and moving to a city which has been plagued with questionable to bad QB play for most of the past …

  11. What better way to cleanse yourself from a bad loss with another loss? The best part, the Bears will have 10 days to talk about this loss until their next loss. I don't see any way this team magically rebounds after that loss, not with only walk-thrus this week. On a short week with a good portion of the secondary still out, the Commanders have a great receiving corps with McLaurin, Samuel, and Dotson, all over 100 yards receiving. Brian Robinson has also been great on the ground with 261 yds (Herbert has 196). The x-factor is Sam Howell. He has 4 TDs and 5 INTs. That's it though. If things don't change, especially on defense, this is another loss, drop to…

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,6125465.story He's 6-2 TE and almost 300 pounds. Wow. I like this idea of basically having a 3rd OG on the field. Since Turner became the OC, I've wanted us to get a "bowling ball" type player to clear the way for our RB. My only concern is I hope we have a plan for Olsen. The obvious solution is to utilize him as a 3rd WR. I also wonder if we'd look to get rid of Dez Clark.

I dunno if this is just trying to gain leverage, or he means it, but apparently Watson is following Chicago weather forecasters on twitter LOL If Nagy and Pace get one more year, can you imagine them trading the future to get this guy to prove that Nagy was good and it was Trubisky that was the problem? And do you think that would work? To me it sounds like it would just cost us the chance to get more OL, and other players, and end in the same result. https://heavy.com/sports/chicago-bears/fans-react-deshaun-watson-twitter-likes/?fbclid=IwAR3-0IRwA96mUuRlkMRirbuV9cX8jzhAXzuXgGpO2rfHfXrGTPX1Oez5Lyg

I came across a new site that really impresses me. How often do you find a draft site that gives a 7 round mock draft with "what if" scenerios and updates it's projection frequently getting readers inputs and adjusting team needs charts as the off-season progresses? That is what I found at Draft Tek Sports Information Web Site. There I found a 7 Round Draft Simulation that rocked. I did not necessarily agree with all the selections but found it to be one of the most credible mock drafts I have come across and am anxious to see the future updates to this mock as we progress through the free agency period and teams needs change as a result. I hope you guys e…

  18. Prime Time Game, on the road. Hard to see anyway the Bears win this but Indy did give HOU fits all game and kept it close. I hope the defense can continue it's solid play but if they allowed 17 to TEN then that is probably high 20s to HOU. The offense has to play better all around. Stick to the run game, get Kmet involved, and more presnap motion. This was always a loss for me, so I will say HOU 27-20.

  19. We still need to address our offensive line? Who is out there? Use our 3rd round pick on this? Will they trade Olsen for a higher pick to address the O-line? Why didn't they go after Bolden? Is someone else out there? I'm still not confident with our lack of a go-to recieiver. Knox has the highest cieling of them all, i think once defenses figure Aromashadu out, he won't be as good as people think, and Hester should just go back to returning kicks and punts. As far as the addressing the Defensive Back situation- I would LOVE bringing in Sharper. He wont be that expensive and we saw last year how much game he still has left in him. I'm excited, but we still…

Bears signed DT Matt Toeaina off the Bengals' practice squad. A sixth-round pick out of Oregon in April, Toeaina immediately becomes the Bears' fifth defensive tackle. He was known as a run stopper with the Ducks. Bears signed former Rams DT Jimmy Kennedy on Tuesday. Kennedy, a 2003 first-round pick by the Rams, has been a bust in the NFL and has not played this season after being waived by the Broncos in training camp. The Bears are desperate for interior line help after a recent rash of injuries and Kennedy played under coach Lovie Smith with the Rams Lovie Smith is "hopeful" that CB Nathan Vasher (groin) can return to the lineup this week against the Vik…
