I'm sick and damn tired about hearing how damn great the NFC is. What REALLY pisses me off is for the last year, there's been the notion the Bear's didn't have a snow-ball's chance in hell to win the big game. It was 29 to 17!!! Christ almighty, the way people talk you'd think the Bears lost 41 to 3. I hate NY teams, but the Pat's were even more obnoxious. Congrats Giants. On a side note, in any sport has their ever been a pair of brothers to do what Peyton & Eli have done?

Angelo in his draft wrap up was talking about choosing between a "QB" and Steltz. The only Qb that was off the board after Steltz and before the Bears picked again in the 5th was Booty. JA went on to say he wanted starters with this draft and he believed strongly of the two that Steltz was a starter.

If he is having to ice and sit out that would lead me to believe that his knee is not 100%. I hurt my knee but needed surgery. My knee was never the same. I also hurt my knee another time that only required rehab. After rehab once I was 100% i never missed anything or had to ice. My knee was 100%. What have the reactions from the player been like?

I don't care if the Colts suck on defense. Howard is the real deal. Strong runner, great vision, good cut-back ability, forward lean, fast enough to get to the second level and exploit a hole for big gain, solid pass-catcher out of the backfield. I really like this kid.

Camp starts Tuesday and has not signed yet.

There may be those looking at the give and take between Nfoligno and me thinking we hate each other. I suggest you read between the lines. Obviously Nfoligno is dumb as a box of rocks, but I think he and I both agree on one thing... We're just having fun. We'll need a sense of humor this season fellas. Bears 8-3 at Giants 3-8 Based on DVOA, the Bears are 12th on offense and 1st on defense. The Giants have the 18th ranked offense and 28th ranked defense. The Giants got off to an awful 1-7 start but have played much better after their bye going 2-1. They just lost to the Eagles 25-22, after winning two straight against TB and SF. 10 of their games have been decided by a TD or less. Several articles out about how the team is not raising ticket prices this year. Frankly, at first I didn't think much of it. Team not raising ticket prices? Big deal. Then I began to read the articles. - The team, as most, have raised prices each year. Standard cost of living raises basically. This year no such thing though. - City of Chicago's amusement tax will increase from 8 percent to 9 percent. Heading into the season, I think even Orton supporters had fairly low expectations. Well, a look at the numbers is a bit surprising. Orton has 198 passes, which ranks him 6th in the league. Far higher than I think most would have expected. Orton has a completion % of 61.6%, which is not great, but very solid. Even better, IMHO, is that he has been over 60% in 4 of his 6 games, and a 5th was 59.4%. He has 1,386 yards passing, which ranks him 8th in the league.
