I'm still undecided. I love Britt but Nicks is impressive and could allow us to go E. Brown in the 1st, but Bey is long but still a bit bulky with nice hands.

  4. Bears could look west for first pick Todd McShay has Chicago drafting Oregon defensive end DeForest Buckner with the 12th overall pick. Buckner is a good athlete for his size and is a handful for offensive linemen when he plays with leverage. McShay: First 2016 mock draft (Insider) share© Don't know much about him. I think they should look inside linebacker myself.

Normally an 0-5 team shouldn't make me nervous. Especially a team that has averaged 4 turnovers a game. But there is a huge difference between an 0-5 Giants team and an 0-5 Jags team. The 0-5 Jags team isn't accustomed to winning and the Giants are. The lack of depth at Dline worries me except that the giants average 56yds/game. Eli's deluded mindset is also helpful:

I dont know about you guys but for me cutting R Davis and moving Bennet to his spot is a no brainer. Then you go and get Vincent Jackson and put him and DA on the outside WR spot and Hester,Knox and Bennett in the slot. We then shorten the 7 step drops to 3 with quick passes to the speedsters and make the D move back(as in the Dallas game). We then use our screen game!! We need a big WR for Cutler to throw to other than Olsen period!!!!! Moss, Jackson, anybody.

Looked at this comparison in another thead, and just love the comparison. Looking at our roster compared to SDs (offense) I think this is a team we could use as a measuring stick. Rivers - 4,000 yards and 34 TDs. I see no reason to believe Cutler isn't just as good as Rivers, and has shown the ability to put up similar numbers. Gates - Their top receiver is not a WR, but a TE. I am not saying Olsen will be equal to Gates overall, but Gates numbers last year (60-700-8) are not on a level I think out of Olsen's reach. 5 more catches. 125 more yards and 3 more TDs. I think that is reasonable. Vincent Jackson - Easily their #1 WR, putting up 59-1,100-7.…

  12. Even the most pessimistic types have to tip the cap to the Bears for the big splash they made as free-agency season opened this week. Martellus Bennett has a chance to be more of a difference-maker at tight end than the Bears have had since Mike Ditka. As a bonus, Bennett, who joins his third team in seven years, seems delightfully flaky. DAN MCNEIL Jermon Bushrod gives the Bears something they haven't had since John Tait — a professional offensive tackle. Marc Trestman's offensive line is going to need more than just one newbie, but the former Saint instantly makes the Bears better up front, and his position — left tackle — isn't going to be change…

Hester no where near the Offense. I see him cut if he doesnt impress anybody with some flash. Carmi practicing strictly at Guard. Do we see a Fluker in our future?

    7. At least one key member of the Chicago coaching staff had rookie RB Matt Forte ranked higher than former Illinois RB Rashard Mendenhall. A league source told Scout.com that when Matt Forte went through his paces at a private workout for Chicago and showed his football intelligence during a film session, at least one influential member of the coaching staff was set on adding him to the roster over Mendenhall. So even though Mendenhall was available to the Bears when they made their first pick at No. 14 overall, they opted to select OT Chris Williams instead. That allowed the Steelers to snag Mendenhall at No. 23. Chicago patiently waited until the 13th pick i…

  17. Bears | Cutler has spoken with Marshall Comment (0) Tue, 23 Jun 2009 07:56:25 -0700 Marty O'Brien, of The Newport News Daily Press, reports Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler said he has spoken with disgruntled Denver Broncos WR Brandon Marshall and would not have a problem reuniting with Marshall if the Bears were able to land him. "I talked to 'B' a few days ago. Just checking in on him and seeing how he's doing, because I went through a similar thing that he's going through," Cutler said. "I played with Brandon for three years and I think he's one of the best receivers in the NFL. I think he can be one of the greatest ever to play. He's big and fast, and can do e…

First , I like to say kudos to Lemonej and LT2 3 for your damn good points of views on Angelo stats etc. I still think we can make the playoffs and do well with the help of a healthy forte at seasons end and Jay hopefully back for the playoffs (koolaid). But after this season what is the plan for next season and there after ? Let's start with the Angelo rumors of retiring which I think are not true. He is still signed for a couple more years I think . If he does retire I believe buddy Ruskell takes over. Will there be a new direction or steady the course ? Is martz going to re-up with us ? If he does decide to leave do we replace him with Tice or …

Eligible for supplemental draft but will be suspended for 1st 5 games. So he gets suspended in the NFL for something he did in college. Personally I think this is a joke & a very slippery slope for the NFL to get on. What net will Hester be suspended for his involvement in the Miami stuff?
