Apparently the Bears scheduled a meeting with Ashton Jeanty right out of the gate. Some may read this to mean that we are very interested in drafting him, and we probably are. Doesn't mean we would pick him over other players we'd also be interested in drafting at that spot. But I also take it to mean that it increases the idea of someone trading up to get him if he is on the board when our pick comes, seeing that we have interest.

I dont know about you guys but for me cutting R Davis and moving Bennet to his spot is a no brainer. Then you go and get Vincent Jackson and put him and DA on the outside WR spot and Hester,Knox and Bennett in the slot. We then shorten the 7 step drops to 3 with quick passes to the speedsters and make the D move back(as in the Dallas game). We then use our screen game!! We need a big WR for Cutler to throw to other than Olsen period!!!!! Moss, Jackson, anybody.

So what are your general thoughts on the trade? I think Indy got a steal getting someone drafted that high for what is almost guaranteed to be a late 1st rounder. If Indy was looking for an RB, I am surprised a team like HOU (Foster/Tate) or BUF (Spiller/Jackson) were not in on this type of deal. Cleveland was already bad and just got a lot worse, so I don't know what their motivation was to pull the string on a deal like this now, especially if IND was the desperate team. Alright so let me first say that I hate/never believe people when they say I had a dream about a draft and think its silly. Well last night I did indeed have a dream about our Bears and the key piece of that dream was my boy Jesse Williams. We were in the super bowl, down by 6, inside 2 minutes, and we had the ball 4th and 1 near mid field(against the Broncos FWIW). 1. Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama --Assuming the Bears are selecting in the 20's, this guy would be a great pick. It's clear that Rachal isn't the answer. Spencer sucks. Louis is in a contract year. At 6'4" 320, Warmack is arguably the best OL on the best team in college football. 2. William Gholston, DE, Michigan State --The Bears have never been shy about selecting DL, and why would they?
