No thanks on Beck. Like I said last year for Rex and Orton has 2 years left, Hanie will be the back up next year and drafting another qb in next years draft will be in 3rd or 4th rounds. Beck is not impressing Parcell so I will take that as good judge of talent.

He will never clear waivers to be put on PS. I will guarnatee you there is teams right now watching what happens with him. I they attempt to put him on PS, he will either be in Minniesota or Dallas. The Vikes for obvious reasons and Dallas because Jones always likes a Qb with moxie. As for both kyle and Rex going down.... Call it over if that happens and salvage it with the kid finishing the season, I been through to many Vets on the Bears that have blown it totaly. No need to have a vet on this team IMHO. Stick with kid and groom him for next year as a number 2. Year three have him compete with Orton for starting. I think he has more talent then Simms , plain and simple.

Agreed, last year before the run they had Ely as the punching bag of NY. Barber's retirement and comments following were horrible. And they won despite him saying they will go nowhere.

Not at this time, but on the roster for sure, Simms has shown again and again that he can not handle the big game. We already have that and dont need more. Giving up on hanie at this time would be foolish for a guy that can not win the game when it counts. I never liked Simms in college and dont like him as a bear. Especially if a former back up on the bears beats him out, Common man, look at the big picture. There will not be a quick fix to this. If Rex looses out to Kyle, Rex will be delt or released after this season, then hanie will be back up to Orton next year. thats my feeling.

If beekman pans out then I dont see the bears going to FA market at all. Keeping St Clair at LT will be the only way to go until Williams returns. The only thing I see is maybe going after lecharles bentley to solidify the sides of Kruetz. Interior Line play would good for while and if beekman continues to develop he could be used on either of the inside positions in the future.

I see someone like the vikes ands Miami picking this kid up, he is definately a parcells type. Strong arm and Mobile. I would like to see him in more competitive light. MY take on this: 1.) Got a very good look at Beekman yesterday. His pass blocking is pretty good , his run was not that bad. he was never really dominated yesterday, thats a good sign. 2.) Hass is a Tom Waddle reincarnate. Hands from here to heaven, wish a littlelfaster. 3.) Forte is gonna be exactly what we want in a back. Good debute!! 4.) Hanie will be our starting QB in 2 years. The kid has moxie. 5.) Wolf is going to be a great 3rd down back. he will carry a role much like Dennis Gentry with better running skills. 6.) Babitch will be asked to find another job. Rivera should still be here. He knows how create pressure. Babitch is Not a NFL coord. This will be a season of major adjustments by JA and Lovie, It will also deteremine thier tenure if they do a bad job. What happens between now and the regular season will let us all know what will happen next year.

I think the best thing we could do is Sign Lecharles Bently and put him at left guard, Move St. Clair to right tackle and bring tait back left. Instant huge improvement. For insurance sign Brown as well.

Really if you look at who the jets have now, this signing will put them right up there with new england. They been signing offensive lineman like crazy and not just any yahoo, Faneca, woody, came to them and they already had Mangold, and the Brick, that line will keep Brett safe and give him a running game that will allow him to really tear up defenses. This aquisition maybe the key to them taking over for few years, all in all its good for Brett and the jets, the packers on the other hand will have entirely new front office after this year.

I believe that it was released because it was a different agency then the one that is odds with Benson. The Sherriffs office just booked him on what lake authorities stated. I dont believe he was mistreated by the sherriffs office at all. Plus i believe the Prosecuting office is having issues with the arrest and them not releaseing the tape maybe that issue. If the lake authority is seen as being out of line then it would make sense for them not to release it pending a speration of responsibility. meaning, They will try seperate themselves from the entire matter before releasing the tape. Also could the DA reverse the charge to to Racial profiling and descrimination? Dont know that one But that my belief anyway. I feel Benson was singled out. And JA can say what he wants, But under the guise of sounding stupid, What JA want him to do? Stay inside all time and not be with freinds? Stupid!!!
