Offense has gone into hibernation Defense now letting the vikings have whatever they want and when ever they want. end result a valiant effort for 3 Qtrs and then we lay down and die. Favre is getting all this love, but the Bears are laying down now.

Should be filled by Bellamy and Holmes. Bellamy has shown flashes of 'good' and was consistent in tonight's game. Although Holmes dropped his first two he came back with a nice TD and then a decent ( not awesome) PR. Since Holmes is a low cost low risk signing he more than qualifies for a spot especially with being able to do returns. The Bears should carry two QBs into week 1. I think Fales should be put on the practice squad or cut all together. His release is really ugly and obviously needs a lot of work. At least his accuracy was better than 'Lamezel'.

Well the Bears look good. And it appears they are going to be deep. Some of these UDFA's are pretty good. Going to be hard picking who stays and who goes.

How about grabbing the center from the Saints , but we would have to give up our 2nd round pick. That would give us the option and move Garza back to LG. Brown should be developed by the time Garza quits. Just a thought.

I posted this to equate to the Hester situation. It may belong in the Hester thread. Both are 3rd year players that have way outdone their rookie deals. Maybe JA and Parker will look at that as a reference. Hester should make no less than Colston, but not a lot more - IMO.

Especially considering that Forte's rookie year was better than any year by either of the two. I also believe that he is playing injured, our O-Line has been bad in support of the run, teams have stacked the box, and we've played 2x 3-4 defenses.

Watching the combine and two guys are impressing me today. Christian Hackenberg and Vernon Adams have both shown great accuracy and good footwork. I really like Hackenberg's release point and quick delivery. And Hackenberg's arm strength is good without much effort. Adams looks like he has to load up a bit to get the long ball out - especially the post-corner, but he is putting it right where it needs to be every time. Loved Connor Cook's anticipation. Jacoby Brissett looks slooooow and his delivery mechanics are slower. He has some things to work on. On the other hand, Treyvon Boykin looks very, very uncomfortable and rushed. Don't be surprised if the Bears do end up making a play for Turner and maybe even Flozel Adams. I am certain that Berrian is a gonner, but I wouldn't mind if we picked up a veteran in FA and then maybe used our 2nd round pick on a wide receiver. It wouldn't shcok me to see someone like Brandon Lyod come to Chicago given his teis to Turner and then say the Bears pick up someone like Manningham in the second round.

The Bears game is on TV here this week. I got a nice HD and free OTA HD broadcast, plus a basement full of homemade beer. However, The games I have watched at the bar this year the bears have won, every game I watched at home we have lost. The Bears are working to set up a visit with free agent WR Bryant Johnson. It'd be Johnson's first visit. He could be in Chicago by early next week. It's no surprise that the overrated wideout isn't being highly sought after.
