I don't know if anyone posted anything like this, but evidently Benson did an interview fairly recently with some words about his time with the Bears. Benson's time with the Bears Thoughts?

They are playing some outstanding football. Kyle is playing within himself and limiting the mistakes. I'm sure they will hit a roadblock sooner of later, but you have to give them credit for a great win today. Peace FYI - I still love the trade and I know that Cutler is a franchise QB.

I never would've thought that the Bears had a chance to be in a tie for the NFC with a win in this game, but here we are. I don't think they will win, probably a 7-10 pt loss, but I don't think they will get blown out. My first thought is something like 27-20 or 27-17, but if they get some players back from injury, the defense may look a lot different, and it will need to be against Barkley and PHI's offense. PHI has lost to NYG, and one score wins against MIN, GB, and DET in the last 6 weeks, so anything is possible. It will probably come down to turnovers and penalties. Since it is in PHI, they will have the edge with the officials for sure.

This is a winnable game for the Bears. The Packers lucked into a win against the Bengals two weeks removed from doing the same thing against SF. This will be Fields' 3rd game with Lazor as the play callers. At this point we should start seeing improvement from him and the offense overall. Hopefully Hicks is back for this one. Our problems are solved!! The Bears signed former St. Louis defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy today. Kennedy has had an injury-plagued career and weight issues, but he appears to be in much better shape. Kennedy was traded to Denver but was cut in training camp and hasn't played this season. He was the Rams' top draft pick — No. 12 overall — in 2003. The Bears would have selected him if he were still on the board. He played one season for Bears coach Lovie Smith while Smith was the defensive coordinator with the Rams. Kennedy is practicing with the Bears today.

LT2_3, can you help us out, we have had conflicting reports, and some disagreements on the forum, about how much cap space the Bears currently have. One report on the net had us with a little over 9 Million under the cap. another had us at about 1 Million under the cap. What is your expert opinion on this point of discussion?

PART DEUX in our house. Biggest game since 2018. Looks like Parsons may have torn is ACL, tough break for GB, but that significantly changes this game. DEN just put up 34 on GBs defense and the Bears scored 21 (would've been 24) last week with Parsons in all game. So the Bears should be projected to score 27 or 28. They may have lost Watson too, but that is too soon to know. He has 5 TDs in the last 5 games and had scored 2 against the Bears. That would be another huge loss.
