A story from Justin Fields rookie year came out over the weekend. Andy Dalton was working the white board, trying to help Justin with the offense and looked up and Justin was fixated on his phone. This should be fun. Caleb Williams needs to grow the F up. He showed me too many plays yesterday that showed prophetic to his draft critics. For starters, his head clock is killing him. His feet get happy too soon and inaccuracy follows. I don't see him as the guy that's willing to take the extra millisecond and take a hit. Obviously for me the rookies starting in the O Line will be my #1 concern. Want to see Cutler succeed. Hopefully the WR's will all play. No excuses! This offense needs to look professional tonight. We'll get a good idea of who the coaches are likely to cut at various positions. Is Peppers playing? If so I sure hope we get more pass rush than last week. From today's press conference it's clear Eberflus was not happy with the pass coverage last week (nobody was). Some of that is players not executing as per assignments or game plan. Some is the lack of pass rush. He was pretty clear today that we have to do a better job of mixing it up to get pressure. I'm expecting Sanborn and Morrow to play better this week.
