Bearstalk

I'm sick of his BS. He can't run the right routes... He can't return kicks... And now he can't even field a friggen punt! He's a guy who got the big check and started to play it safe. He's a pussy! I say bench his ass for a few games until he gets his head straight. I know we don't have anything else, really, at WR, but I'm sick of Hester's lack of production. He's got no heart.

Since there's nothing happening on the free-agency front any time in the foreseeable future, I thought we should have a running thread for all the draft prospects the Bears are putting through private workouts, and all the Pro Days they're sending coaches to. After all, it's the only thing that's going on between now and April. So I've listed all the workouts I could find so far, along with a quick report on the lesser-known guys and on which coaches the team sent to see each dude. Gabe Carimi, OT, Wisconsin - Tice worked him out at Wisconsin's Pro Day. We all know this guy. I think most of us would be pretty happy to see him in a Bears uniform. Mike Pouncey…

Url, what the hell are you doing calling out Sayers? Yes, the team went 1-13, but that wasn't Sayers' fault. When you become a Hall of Famer then you can take some pot shots. It would be nice to see you play with a little fire too, while we're at it. Don't get me wrong, you are a good player, but I don't think you are "great." Get back on the filed and let your game do the talking, please.

No change in coordinators in the offseason. Further, he said he sees Hester being a #1 receiver in the future. Peace

He wouldn't be a bad backup, but obviously if Orton doesn't pan out the Bears would still be in need for a QB.

Per score they signed Andy Dalton. Welp, that’s a letdown. 1 year $10 Mil with another 3 in potential incentives.

This isn't exactly how I wanted to wake up. Looks like Alex Brown is gone. WTF???????????/ http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,2111914.story

Winner gets worse draft pick and 3rd place bragging rights, loser takes the NFC North cellar and almost locks in a top 10 pick. I am torn, I really want a win and for us to go on a 7 game run and totally redeem ourselves, but the other half says this season is toast and the only way to get change is to tank even further. If we lose to Minny at home with AP, we need to fire someone within an hour of the game ending.

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7895722...away-from-Colts After some serious thought, I now have generally come to agree with the post season moves. This one though I would like to know how involved Angelo was with this if at all. if not , why not.

What bothers me about these decision makers is the lack of a plan to address needs. I will give them they went out and addressed DE, but still have questions at FS and OL. and if you wish to buy into it, still need help at WR. Someone like Philly will drop players, sign people, make trades, and address there needs in the draft anyway they need to. You can right or wrong, at least see a plan with what they are doing. I wish I could figure out what our leaders are doing, they have did some nice things over the last two years, but fall short with to many bad decisions. They keep repeating moves to make up for past mistakes. As much as no matter what I want the team to succe…

Trade for him! Throw draft picks at them! Raiders said they are open to trade him!

I was surprised when TheAthletic.com website came out with their new top 50 Draft Board. Here are the top 10 slots listed by Dane Brugler: (the top 3 surprised me in the order they were listed, #4 a TE? Really? Is he that good?) 1 - Drake Maye QB North Carolina 2 - Marvin Harrison Jr. WR Ohio State 3- Caleb Williams QB USC 4- Brock Bowers TE Georgia 5- Olu Fashanu OT Penn State 6- Joe Alt OT Notre Dame 7- Dallas Turner Edge Alabama 8- Keon Coleman WR Florida State 9- Laiatu Latu Edge UCLA 10- JC Latham OT Alabama

After 3 weeks, there are 14 teams with a 1-2 record. CLE is technically the last WC team in the AFC. So the Bears could be as low as #4 or as high as #17 thru 3 weeks. Honestly, I am surprised CIN and JAX are 0-3, but CIN did look terrible in joint practices, so it does make sense a little bit. I have no clue how JAX got worse, but they did have a super easy schedule last season that may have masked their issues. Crazy to think the entire QB draft class with Fields may end up not living up to the hype, with Lawrence as the last victim. 1. JAX 0-3 2. TEN 0-3 3. CIN 0-3 ------------ 4. IND 1-2 5. NE 1-2 6. CLE 1-2 7. MIA 1-2 8. CAR 1-2 9. DAL 1-2 …

I've been watching the videos of Mendenhall on Youtube. Things I like. Good body control and balance. Uses blockers well Has the ability to run it inside and push for yardage. Has good speed and agility in space anticipates well. Has a good attitude a team guy Has good hands as a receiver. He does run with the ball in one hand a lot. even up the middle, he needs to be more carefull about putting two hands on the ball in a crowd. NFL Defenders are more adept at stripping the ball than college defensive players. Some of the holes I saw in the videos you could drive a truck through. But on the clips where the holes were much smaller and he was r…
