Per Brad Biggs of the Sun-Times Marty Booker has signed a two-year deal wit the Bear.

Bears | L. Smith expects more from Benson Wed, 2 Apr 2008 12:44:09 -0700 Clark Judge, of CBSSports.com, reports Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith expects more from RB Cedric Benson in 2008. "Cedric is a first-round draft pick, and with that are expectations," Smith said. "And there comes a time when he needs to produce. This is an important year for us and for him, and he needs to take a step." Looks like the Bears are done being patient with him. Hopefully that lights a fire under his arse.

Right now we look like the worst NFL team in recent history... this is fuckin sickening

https://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/442282 Just saw the league get reactivated for the year, thanks Commish! I am tracking $30 entry fee with up to 2 keepers starting this year. Can we confirm teams to see if we need any new GMs this year? I am in, team name Domination Inc.

So watching Foles play yesterday almost makes me miss him but then I realized he was playing against 3rd and 4th stringers who mostly won’t have a job by the end of the week. But man did he look good running that offense. How about Horstead? Might need to make a spot for him to stay? Probably drop JP Holtz to make room. My two fave players coming out of camp have to be Rodney Adams and Khyris Tonga. Have to believe both make it. After yesterday’s game I’m a bit concerned about Peters and Ifedi starting. Both got schooled pretty badly early on. Yes I know it’s preseason but man. Hopefully somebody cuts a solid OLT in the next few days.

here is a synopsis of how this organization is working toward a new GM and coach... bill polian is hired in 2021 by curious george to advise the inept mccaskey family on how to proceed with running their franchise. according to rumor, polian was advising the bears back in november 2021. deciding, it appears, that nagy wasn't the man for the HC job. what that means is that ryan pace had become untenable to do this job as a GM. what does that mean? it means that at this time ryan pace is now going to be replaced also. so, it appears bill polian has had the reins to how the football operations are going to proceed since november 2021. in approximately 2 months jim …

QUOTE: "Jay Cutler threw a pick-six to Cardinals S Tony Jefferson on a miscommunication with Martellus Bennett. “It’s an option route," said Bennett. “I may feel something that Jay sees different on the play. … Those are plays we need to make and make all the time.” … That's two weeks in a row those little miscommunications on your routes have resulted in turnovers that led to opponents scores. How may more times are you gonna "freelance" your routes and not be in the spot where Cutler expects you to be and delivers the ball too? The Cutler haters will blame him because they always have but those picks didn't happen in a vacuum. In both cases you overran your ro…

Bad start by both sides of the ball. An 80 yard drive by Redskins followed by a quick series by the offense.

Our cycle this year has been Loss-Loss-Win, Loss-Loss-Win-Win, Loss-Loss. So I am figuring this will be another one of those weird wins at home. Bears 23 - Lions 16

Cuts are coming in. Darnell Dockett from SF, Da’Quan Bowers and Khaseem Greene from TB, and more.

It is about that time to set a draft date and get the pay details squared away for this season. Also, any GM's not participating this year? Can we get a roll call? I'm in.

If you are demanding change, here you go. I will be making a donation. http://www.bearfansunited.org/ Peace

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,2938546.story Anybody that might give Jamarcus Webb competition at LT is a good thing. Hope this kid can be one of those hidden gems.

From early, it looked like he was rushing things. He's just got sloppy since, he's to scared pressure is there and throwing scared. It's definitely the Oline's fault he is in that state, but his fault for staying in it and letting it get to him. He's playing almost as bad as Webb tonight.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/...start/#comments I hope he gets that fresh start. His mind wasn't in games according to him because he wasn't being used enough. He doesn't want to play offense for the Bears if he isn't traded. Let him go and free up some money for some O-Linemen. Trade him for Tebow or something, lol.

Actually I'm looking forward to a night of football, starting with the Packers Vs. Seahawks at 7 PM and then switching to the beloved. Not sure the girlfriend is going to be as happy with that plan as I am. This weekend's game is said to be the most telling. We should see at least a minimal game plan and a half of football from our starters, possibly more. I want to see Jay distribute the ball. The offense be more diverse in general with Forte getting some good work. The D to continue to hustle to the ball, get turnovers. McFadden is a good back when healthy. Let's see what he does against the Bears D. And you?

I am sure everything I will talk about was on the thread for the game yesterday but dont really have time to view all of it ,so will put my thoughts down here. I like a coach that is aggressive, but we should have took the points early in the game instead of going for the first down. People drop balls, and we get inappropriate pealities at the wrong time but what stirs my dandruff was not going to McCown after the first half. I understand going with Jay to start the game, but he was getting beat up, and wasnt mobile, we should have went with McCown at the start of the second half. Its not Jays fault, he would have wanted to go back in even if his legs were falli…

Very inconsistent player, seemed like an obvious cut.
