Here is one from Walter Football: 43. Chicago Bears: Terrell Lewis, DE/OLB, Alabama The Bears need some edge-rushing depth, especially considering that Leonard Floyd will be entering free agency soon. Terrell Lewis was once a staple of my 2019 NFL Mock Draft, but he returned to school after an injury-plagued 2018 campaign. 50. Chicago Bears: Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU The Bears could add another receiver to start across from Allen Robinson. Jalen Reagor is a blazing-fast receiver who can go the distance whenever he touches the ball. So Edge and WR? Lewis was ranked #49 in Jeremiah's top 50, and Reagor was not listed. I understand the thought p…

Here is the current list of top 100 FA's for 2020 from The Athletic. I excluded the top 30 due to the expected salaries and/or projected tags. This is the remaining list. If you could pick 4 guys off this list to target, who would they be? After reading some articles about FA TE failures, I am avoiding TE in FA. I selected Fuller's brother at CB, Vonn Bell to play SS, Vaitai to replace Leno, and Glasgow at G. All are young enough to play out a full contract. I also re-signed Kwit (not counting that as a target). Then in the draft, the team can address TE, Edge, speed at WR, and depth. Top 1-30 Excluded: 31. Chris Harris Jr., CB, Broncos (31) 32. D.J. Humphr…

I would say they sign a few more UDFAs and then look for a vet S. I prefer Eric Reid but there are several good ones out there. Also Clayton Geathers has ties to Pagano when he was in Indy. Every year it's hard to cover all your weaknesses you have. They did bring back bring Bush and brought in the KC guy but still needs to bring one more vet in. Also they brought in 2 OLs but that's probably not enough. So 1 more OL and S and I think we're ready to go.

  4. If Stafford with backup WRs can carve up the Bears, I can't imagine what Watson is going to do. Watson 28 - Bears 13 Projected stats: Jackson with 8 tackle observations (he was there for moral support) Skrine with 7 receptions against (he is being giving this time of year) Mack with 6 missed holding calls (he likes to cuddle) ARob with 5 receptions (at least he didn't run out of bounds one yard short of the sticks) Kmet with 4 targets (huge if true) Trubisky with 3 passes short of the sticks (on 3rd Down of course) Hicks with 2 TFLs (the star of the game) and 1 more loss for the Bares.

From early, it looked like he was rushing things. He's just got sloppy since, he's to scared pressure is there and throwing scared. It's definitely the Oline's fault he is in that state, but his fault for staying in it and letting it get to him. He's playing almost as bad as Webb tonight.

With no running game, one of the worst offensive lines in the league, and no real go to guy, you can't expect the QB to do much. This draft should consist of at least 2 first day OLinemen and we need to sign Faneca. Before I was against this idea, but it needs to be done. Moose can stay, only because the majority of his contract has been paid and he is still a decent target. Berrian, I want to see kept but if we sign Faneca the choice is between him and Briggs, and Briggs plays a much more important role then Berrian.

I was sitting here thinking about our offensive line and was trying to remember how many years John Tait has left on his contract. (Is it 3?) Usually I just check out LT's cap analysis for stuff like that. It used to be at the top of the forum and now it's gone. That great piece of work should be posted somewhere that's easily accessible.

Cuts are coming in. Darnell Dockett from SF, Da’Quan Bowers and Khaseem Greene from TB, and more.

It is about that time to set a draft date and get the pay details squared away for this season. Also, any GM's not participating this year? Can we get a roll call? I'm in.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/...start/#comments I hope he gets that fresh start. His mind wasn't in games according to him because he wasn't being used enough. He doesn't want to play offense for the Bears if he isn't traded. Let him go and free up some money for some O-Linemen. Trade him for Tebow or something, lol.

Actually I'm looking forward to a night of football, starting with the Packers Vs. Seahawks at 7 PM and then switching to the beloved. Not sure the girlfriend is going to be as happy with that plan as I am. This weekend's game is said to be the most telling. We should see at least a minimal game plan and a half of football from our starters, possibly more. I want to see Jay distribute the ball. The offense be more diverse in general with Forte getting some good work. The D to continue to hustle to the ball, get turnovers. McFadden is a good back when healthy. Let's see what he does against the Bears D. And you?

I am sure everything I will talk about was on the thread for the game yesterday but dont really have time to view all of it ,so will put my thoughts down here. I like a coach that is aggressive, but we should have took the points early in the game instead of going for the first down. People drop balls, and we get inappropriate pealities at the wrong time but what stirs my dandruff was not going to McCown after the first half. I understand going with Jay to start the game, but he was getting beat up, and wasnt mobile, we should have went with McCown at the start of the second half. Its not Jays fault, he would have wanted to go back in even if his legs were falli…
