What have the reactions from the player been like?

The Bears just won back-to-back on the road, and 3 in a row. The schedule lightens up a little bit over the next month, but they cannot overlook the Saints on a short week. The Saints are 0-5 when they allow 20+ points and 1-0 when they allow 19 or less. They themselves only have one game where they scored more than 21 and that happened to be the only game their defense held their opponent under 20 (lol). That also happened to be the game where the Giants had 5 turnovers. So as long as the Bears don't have a crazy sloppy game like that, they should win by double digits. I believe we really don't need to see either Walker or Harris play the rest of the yr. I would rather see Izzy, Kennedy, and the 2 new tackles get the reps to see what we have from them for next yr. Hell, on passing downs put Alex in the middle as we have done in the past. Peace

There are few decent options this upcoming offseason, but the Bears will have to figure out who they want to pay. At this point the Bears need to get younger. By replacing ARob they can improve and get younger at the same time. Here are a few names that could come in and be potential WR1s if the Bears look to FA for that. Another option is to go by WR1BC and taking a lesser option assuming Fields doesn't need a true #1. 1. This is what will have to happen for the Bears to make the playoffs this year: Bears must win out. Minnesota, Arizona, Detroit, and Washington must lose two of their next three games. Most of them plays at least two teams that can beat them. Arizona has an easier schedule, but didn't look so hot today. Carolina must lose one game.

7.5 dogs seems a little high, but understandable. The Browns beat a terrible Texans team by 10 at home. However, it will be like a home game if Fields starts. Fields will finally get a week of practice with the 1s and hopefully build off his play from Sunday. This is an interesting matchup. Cleveland lost to KC and beat HOU. Just like the Bears lost to LAR and beat CIN. I feel like CLE is better than CIN but HOU, with Tyrod Taylor and Davis Mills at QB put up 21 pts and had the Texans within 3 pts with 8 mins to go. Here we go, I am so pumped for this game. The last 4 games have been so demoralizing watching Glennon. I know there will be some ups and downs, but I am excited to see the kid play. I just hope they don't do what they did in the last preseason game and run 10+ straight plays with Trubisky handing off to start the game. Instead, we need a bootleg or some movement where he only has to read half the field. The threat of him running and his mobility are going to give the receivers more room for intermediate routes. The Bears are still weak at WR3, Edge2, and need at least another rotational piece at DT with the loss of Jones. For upgrades, Center is the most obvious spot not listed. So priority seems to be WR/Edge, then DT, then Center. If they stand pat, they have #9, #75, and #122 to address those spots. They have talked about a big drop off in talent in this draft (due to players staying in school due to NIL), so there are fewer mid level players available.
