A lot of picks to like, obviously Smith is a great pick, but for some reason the Miller pick is sticking with me. The more I read about the kid, I am sold and think he will turn out to be a long-time starter for the franchise.

First of all, the Bears staff knows more about the health of Kevin White than anyone else. So I'll hope for now he's healthy. If so, the Bears suddenly have turned a position of question into a position of perceived strength. -White (6'3", 216lbs) will be presumably be the split end (X). He's big enough and fast enough to shake off press coverage from the line. So here's an interesting article breaking down Martz's tendencies as a playcaller in every season he's coached. It breaks down everything from the big issues (how many receptions went to each receiver, the carry split between the #1 and #2 RBs, what percentage of pass attempts ended in sacks or interceptions, etc.) to the really minute ones (like percentage of QB runs and TE end-arounds, stuff like that.) Even though it isn't Bears related, its a pretty huge piece of news. Peter King is reporting that those close to the situation indicate that they believe the injury will prevent him from playing this season. Obviously they'll know more once the MRI results are back.
