I like both picks and think they have 2 players who will be difference makers for a long time. I try to look at it as this: RD1: Khahil Mack OLB RD2: Cole Kmet TE RD2 Jaylon Johnson CB So we traded up round 3 using our 4th to secure a rd1 CB talent the fell. I know it is not technically how it happenend, just helps grasping it. RD5 Trevis Gibson OLB RD5 Kindle Vinder CB RD5 Darnell Mooney WR RD7 Arlingtin Hambright OT/OG RD7 Lachavious Simmons OT/OG

I feel Pace trades up far too often. It is fine if that player turns into Jackson, but they also turn into Floyd and Trubisky. They have been short handed on picks for many years because they have failed in the draft. So they buy players. Cutler, Marshall, and Mack came at high costs.

Artavious Pierce RB -Oregon St 5'10" 207 4.45 speed. I thought we would see a few decent RB prospects sign. Maybe Ryan Nall helped him decide to sign with the Bears. Seems like a decent runner with good long speed but not much wiggle. Only started one year, so has more to learn in concepts. Overall, he has a good chance if he can learn quick. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DhXtQe2Ot5LM&ved=2ahUKEwjY9b6jooXpAhWQQs0KHR2iCUIQwqsBMAB6BAgBEAQ&usg=AOvVaw0Y6tMVFoQjKw8Bgo-JSd7y

He signed to stop all the social media GMs who post "the Bears have 10 TEs".

2020 Bears UDFA Tracker — DL Lacale London, (Western Illinois) — OL Dieter J. Eiselen, (Yale) — OT Badara Traore, (LSU) — RB Artavis Pierce, (Oregon State) — LB Ledarius Mack, (Buffalo) — DL Trevon McSwain (Duke) — TE Ahmad Wagner (Kentucky) — LB Rashad Smith (FAU)

Rashad Smith OLB Florida Atlantic

Let's hope one of these guys turns out. Now UDFA starts and I am sure QB we can land a QB who has to think about beating out Bray.
-
And another OT LaChavious Simmons
-
Even with Trey Adam's or the Prince? I'd be happy with either of those in the 7th. Still a lot of SS left too as the 6th starts.
-
The Bears just needed production from TE. He will play right away, maybe strictly Y, but he could become a Jason Witten, Little, or Kyle Rudolph. Can he become a move TE like Kelce? I can see it also. At ND, he played all over. He lined up in the back field, out wide, in the slot.

We never know where players will go. We read mock draft boards and form ideas based off that were players should be drafted. NFL teams build their own boards and we get shocked when players go different. All we can do is see how it turns. Out of all our mocks we do, I wonder who wins the most landed.

Sit tight... they traded up for one Took Darnell Mooney 4.38 speed. The still have a 6th and 7th left. Packaged a 6 and 7th to move up.
-
That is for sure. Do you think they extend Fuller at the end of the year? I can't see them paying a CB 20 million unless he is the best in the league.
-
Kendle Vildor CB Georgia Southern Good talent but now we have a team of CBs and TEs. This may be a farewell tour for Fuller.
-
Brooks, Muse, Reed, or Stone
-
Not sure we here that stands after a few moves (Spriggs) made and yet to be made, but it helps lessen the blow. Gibson needs a good year of NFL conditioning to add lower and core strength. I see him as a future replacement for RRH.
-
Hate trading future...but he is a 3rd round talent who shouldn't have been there.
-
Well well, Pace does it again. Had to trade picks to move up. Trevis Gibson DE Tulsa
-
Lemiuex and Joe Reed just taken. Shh. I want Prince or Trey at OT. Next year they can be a starter.
-
Here we are as round 4 is winding down. Anyone have any names to throw in the want list? I don't know late rd WRs that fit the speed guy. My first guy...Ben Bredsen G just taken by Bamtimore. Jake Fromm QB Anthiny Gordon QB Trey Adam's OT Prince Tego-Warigho OT Curtis Weaver OLB Bradlee Anae OLB Tylern Biadasz C Geno Stone S JR Reed S Antoine Brooks S Jordan Fuller S

Shelly is best suited to play NB. Hate to say it, but Fullers cap hit next season (2021) will cost the Bears 20 million. They can save 11 by cutting him, seems logical if he doesn't work out an extension. Sometimes making moves are for reasons down the road.

At least we can put William's to rest as was traded to SF. Too bad they wouldn't have taken Leno and Shaheen straight up.
-
Trent William's is now a 49er. I don't know if the Bears will ever break out and become a dominant franchise. They have to get the drafts right. They need to become rich with picks and trade down more times than up to accumulate future picks. I hope they don't trade future to move up a round this morning because it would cost us.

Darryton Evan's RB gone. Just penciled him on my want list. The RB market will be slim imo, so maybe the Bears pick up a player late in FA. Still a handful of SS I like and the more I look into it, I am growing on Tanner Muse from Clemson. Big, quick, and a high football IQ. I have a feeling we will get a SS then it might be a crap shoot of surprise positions.

Gone, 3-69 to Seattle.
