Cutler should be back and fans should want him back also. Right now even with Jay's flaws he is clearly better than any other pending free agent QB available including those in the upcoming draft. Since Cutty is under contract we do not need to hastily make a change just because he had an up and down season. In my opinion Cutler is a tough, gritty sob who is a fierce competitor and hates losing. My biggest concern is the pounding Jay has taken over the past few seasons may have caused permanent mental damage. Kinda like Rex Grossman when he first came up he was decisive and played well. Then after being repeatedly sacked Rex became permanently shell shocked and never reached his potential. Unfortunately this scenario has played out over several decades pre and post Rex. Musin Mohamed was wrong, Chicago is not where wide receivers come to die but rather where Quarterbacks come to be killed. This Team / organization has bigger issues than Jay Cutler that need to be resolved. Clearly Jay may never reach his potential but its not in this teams best interest to just dump him for nothing nor with out a viable replacement. I would like to see the Bears bring in experienced and successful football people to rebuild the organizational culture and fill it with men who are good at coaching and developing players. I want the Bears to be managed and operated like the Steelers, Ravens, New England and Green Bay organizations. Not until the Bears have competent management and coaching staff will this organization be capable of providing the stability needed and an environment where players could thrive and conducive to winning.

Why bench Cutler now? This move shows that Trestman is way too soft to be an NFL coach. If Cutler really wan't running the offense they way the coach wanted then why wait until week 15 to hold your QB accountable? It's like rubbing a puppy's nose in its piss three weeks after its piddle accident, worthless. To me this should be all about playing the backups for the purpose of evaluation while ensuring they don't accidentally win a game down the stretch to mess up the potential draft order.

Now, I do not watch college football but if the Bears are in the top 10 and they identify a franchise QB than they should trade up to secure the pick and doing so should not be too costly. Then the rest of the draft should focus on defense and the following year 2016 then focus on offensive line when you let the second year QB battle cutler for starting job.

Why not call a slant or seam pattern on the 3rd down pass play? Trestman get your head out of you ass. The gals start and then a shank punt grrrr.

I live in the Denver area and hurricane josh has NO leadership abilities and was more in over his head than Trestman is currently in Chicago. In my opinion I don't think josh will be considered for another NFL head coaching job. For example, there was a story that was reported about a player scuffle in the broncos facility and josh never came down from his office to handle the situation. based on local media radio guys many the players had very little respect for McDaniels. Think Lane Kiffin bad!

Sure cutler has his faults and I am very disappointed in his play at times but until chicago can draft and develop their own home grown perennial all pro QB I think is stupid to keep bashing cutler.

I heard someone mention Ryan Grigson, as one of the top young excutives in th NFL. So far, I think he is doing a great Job in Indy. Perhaps the Defense has been trying to get Tucker and Trestman Fired and is why the are playing so deliberately awful?

Maybe its for the McCaskey's to sell the team to the folks care more and are more invested in this teams success, WE THE FANS! LET US the FANS attend shareholder meetings and participate in running this franchise and seems to be working in Green Bay.

The Bears product is inferior and management and coaching is even worse. This team clearly has quit on Trestman & Tucker. Emery, please do your job or at least do the humane thing by putting Trestman and Tucker out of their misery.

How does Trestmas have the audacity to tell us they need to go back and look at film of San fran, Atlanta, Nyj after having two weeks to prepare for Green Bay and they play worse than the NE!
