  1. Is there a salary cap on the coaching staff? If not, that ownership needs to pay these three men to keep the continuity and allow either Gase or Fangio to be the future head coach when Fox eventually retires.
  2. I hate our Special Teams coach and play!
  3. Fox, Gase and Fangio all understand how to get the most out of each players is to put them in the best situations for success based on their individual strengths! I'll never understand coaches who think they need to have certain specialized players to run their system which often takes way to long to turn around a team.
  4. We needed a screen play to Langford on that drive.
  5. Did I mention that collinsworth is a tool and he annoys the sh!t out of me!
  6. Collinsworth is giddy as a school girl about favre joining him in the booth at halftime. Chris must have been a recipient of Favre's notorious sext message!
  7. And there was no holding called on the TD pass to lacey. Bears have enough problems of there own let alone have the officials help bail out greenbay.
  8. I think Pace was hoping that Baltimore or Tampa Bay would have called at some point and offered a trade for Clausen, lol!
  9. I was thinking the same thing, QB sweep!
  10. With valdimeer duccasse struggling I was wondering does anyone know the status of Barrett Jones? is jones hurt or should we expect him to be brought from the PS?
  11. Is there a salary cap for coaches? If not and from what we seen from the staff thus far I say lock them up with more money!
  12. I really happy Cutler is finally experiencing a stretch of sustained success!
  13. I really like how Kadeem runs hard and through the tackler. He is a good complement to Langford.
  14. I agree from the perspective that I did not have great expectations going into this season and want to see a team play hard and smart while showing improvement from week to week. Thus far they have not been embarrassing unless Clausen has started for Jay. Coaching has been much better and we are seeing in game adjustments being made. Glad to see the trade of Allen, cutting Ratliff as now is the time to keep playing the youngsters to see what we have. My biggest complaint is special teams which apparently takes the short bus to soldier field! Pace / Fox need to fire the ST coach because this unit has been that embarrassing.
  15. I got concerned when Gase called three straight running plays then punt which gave the Lions excellent field position with 2:32 left in the 4th quarter. One first down and the Bears could have possible ran out the clock without going to OT. Reminded me of Lovie Ball there.
  16. Why does Gase or Fangio need to leave? Perhaps Pace has promised the keys to Halas Hall to whomever fixes Jay or gets a top 5 defense first over the next two years and Fox retires! Nothing wrong with competition!
  17. I love Matt Forte but he deserves a shot at the superbowl and the classy thing to do is for Pace to move him to a legit contender. This is not a typicall player dump but since the bears are rebuilding why should Forte grind it out for a team that is going nowhere.
  18. Pace should keep stockpiling picks or young talent. Out of respect for Matt Forte, pace should find a contender like New England, Denver or Cincinnati where Matt could have a Chance at the post season.
  19. I would of rather kept Tillman. But Porter is insurance which is good. I also hope a youngster steps up big this season
  20. While I love the Bears colors and uniform but think its time to improve or makes some enhancements like the helmet that I found online for and using as my avatar. Here is a link to that this company has taken the liberty to make over each teams helmet. Some are really cool. What do you all think? http://www.fastcocreate.com/3042580/see-ey...ll-32-nfl-teams
  21. Not sure how many years Collins signed for but he should be a free agent sooner than the players that got drafted. With the Cowboys salary cap problems they may not be able to keep him beyond this first deal. Who knows but maybe he could end up with the Bears in the future.
  22. That's my main point in this "deflategate" is that the NFL is most culpable for not maintaining a better protocol on handling the footballs. I'm certainly against cheating but I just don't know how the NFL can penalize any team / player for manipulating the football when the NFL is ultimately responsible for maintaining the integrity of the game. The NFL has many faults but this seems like an easy fix. Have an NFL equipment manager or small crew present at each game responsible for inspecting, footballs, player equipment for safety and hold and maintain the footballs used during the games. How many times do you see a players helmet fly off during the course of an NFL game? I have always wonder how are these guys allowed to wear helmets so loosely. During a game a coach could always ask the "NFL Official Equipment manager" to check a football or a players uniform to ensure it meets the NFL standards.
  23. Where's the NFL culpability in all this? After all if the nfl had better procedures in handling game balls this cheating scandal would have not been possible. Major league baseball doest allow each team to supply their own game balls, the umpires approve and control all game balls. NFL should just take ownership of this and declare how they will handle game balls in the up coming season.
  24. Both studs and with all things nearly even we got the wrong with the better catch radius a day run blocker. Very glad white is on our team!
  25. Stein is amazing and should be promoted to team president relieving Ted Phillips.
