  1. Mayock thinks WR is the position that will have a run late first round.
  2. 1. Shon Coleman Most underrated 2. Ronnie Stanley most overrated 3. Dak Prescott Favorite Day 3 prospect 4. Jaylon Smith 1/2 round pick to drop 5. Connor Cook surprise 1st rounder 6. William Jackson III bold pick 7. Myles Jack don't pick 8. Paxton Lynch should pick 9. Shaq Lawson the pick
  3. Since Pace and Fox have been here everything has been under wraps so if they like one of the top OT prospects why would they bad mouth Leno? By bringing Massie in means they may have checked a few OT's in FA just like they made an offer to CJ Anderson. BTW if you do want to take an OT it would be better in the first round because of the 5th year option.

    Shaq Lawson

With the recent medical whispers Myles Jack may be there at 11 also!
  5. You are mentioning 2 HOF DBs IMO, can you say that Norman is in that same category?
  6. Jaylon projects as an NFL red shirt and will not play this season!
  7. The Rams going up to 1 throws all scenarios out the window.
  8. I agree just because you put an NFL helmet on doesn't mean you have changed your behavior. Usually these guys mask it for a while,
  9. This is an intriguing schedule and there is no way that we can project how this will turn out,
  10. I'm thinking this is only the tip of the iceberg. Players expected to go in the top 10 will get pushed back by 1 and the Bears may have an opportunity to trade back depending on if there is another QB needy team trading into the top 10
  11. Because of recent incidents involving NFL players there is probably a slight chance that Oakman will be drafted. The Bears have gone to great lengths to rid the team of malcontents and this as well as Nk.......would be contrary to that.
  12. What was everyone's opinion of Kirk Cousins coming out?
  13. When Aaron Rodgers was on the board and the Packers had Brett Farve under center but Rodgers was the highest player on the board and they took him. We need to embrace this concept because that is what is being tried to do here!
  14. What? If scouts and GMs watch games live and game tape plus watch practices at the Senior Bowl etc. How can Georgia be responsible for guys being over drafted?I believe that the GMs and scouts have a lot to do with the over rating of the players.
  15. No other draft projection has him rated that high.

    Back up QB

Since we started discussing draft prospects you and I have been the main two posters to mention Prescott routinely. I like his game and think he can come in and learn under Jay but if they are going to insist on going with only 2 QBs then it would make sense to go with an earlier projected prospect.
  18. All 3/4 teams even better!
  19. FWIW Mike Mayock, who's opinion I value much more than Mel Kiper has Floyd listed as his number 2 edge rusher ahead of Lawson and Spence. That doesn't mean they're both right just that they seem to have a similar opinion. If we are going to go undersized OLB then why isn't Darren Lee in the conversation? I like his athleticism, his versatility and the fact that he could be on the field for 3 downs because of his coverage ability. I have watched over the years these edge rusher from Georgia be ranked very high in the draft only to be pedestrian in the NFL.
  20. When you are trying to add cornerstone OL you should try your best to acquire them as early in the draft as possible. Currently the only Pro Bowl lineman on the Bears was drafted in the first round. One of the best OL in team history had 2 1st rounders, a 4th an 8th and a UDFA. Covert,Van Horne,Thayer, Bortz and Hilgenberg. OL can be found throughout the draft but, when you want to protect the edges invest in early draft prospects IMO.
  21. I could see the Bears selecting a player they like that might be considered a reach and that is CB William Jackson Houston or WR Corey Coleman Baylor at 11.I would prefer a trade back for those picks but, I'm still not zeroed in on what Pace's draft strategy is. This is all based on if Lawson or Hargreaves are also off the board and if there is one of the top QB prospects on the board take him unless you can fleece someone for at least 2 picks this year and 1 next year.
