Gase had no agenda after striking out during last off season for an HC job. The facts that have come out showing his personality and discipline since becoming the Dolphins HC speaks volumes of how he controlled the offense last season.

Level of competition is why he is a UDFA and that video was published in July of 2015 prior to his last season meaning he did nothing to make scouts take significant notice last season.

If I have an OL due an extension and he plays OG at a Pro Bowl caliber, imo I would sign him at his current position than move him to that premium position and then try to sign him.

I like when teams cut veterans this way because it makes no sense to have them at OTAs, mini camps etc., if you don't project them to your roster and that gives them a chance to look at younger players at those positions.They did exactly the same thing with Forte and he still found a way to be offended.
