Nice stat! It makes sense when you think about it. Not many teams have stability at the quarterback position but Favre was a true testament to this, and because of his durability he was able to lead the Packers to many great seasons.

You can find another Ayanbedejo just about every year.

So what, respect the man for he was the kind of player you want your kids to see day in and day out; no matter if he played for the team we love to hate. The guy is a warrior and put his heart and soul into every game. I'll sure miss seeing him on his back though but this is a big loss to Packer nation.

Depending whether or not we will have a running back to replace Cedric this year I think its his final chance to prove something to the organization.

Mendenhall >>>>>>>

Jesus if they did that I would be pissed. Thomas Jones is not the player that alot of Bear's fans make him out to be. I really don't think he is that good and he basically proved that when he signed with the Jets. He can't break any tackles whatsoever and can't outrun defenders in the backfield. He was best in space where he let his vision do the work.

Rashard is going to be a guaranteed 1,000 yard rusher from day 1 and he's also going to catch some passes out of the backfield as well which can make him a dual threat. If it were between him and McFadden I'd probably take Mendenhall mainly because of the size and me getting to watch him every single Saturday tear it up in the Big Ten and against USC in his last game.

How do the Raiders have ALL of this money? For God sake wth is going on? They just signed like two or three other guys to massive deals and now this?

Can't complain, I think this is a good move.

Hester will be twice the player Steve Smith is IF he can learn how to catch the ball. His other tools are far superior to Smith which makes his potential limitless. Supposebley I read today that Mark Bradley is the teams #1 receiver coming into next season by default.

I heard Ayanbedejo wants to start at linebacker next year for a team to because he thought he had a great game in the probowl.

Who is this Josh Johnson I keep hearing?

Mendenhall or McFadden are my two picks

Sure, I'm in!

Nah, I'd rather have Brown, Ogun, and Anderson..

Because I would rather have Rashard Mendenhall over Michael freaking Turner any day of the week. It was just one of my examples; you could go, Slaton, Stewart, Charles etc.. Lots of good looking guys out there, I just personally want Rashard cuz I'm an Illini fan and it'd be nice to see him in Bears colors.

I guess Johnson because, have you seen the RB's coming out in this years draft? Oh my, talk about alot of potentially great ones! I want Mendenhall. =)

I heard he is expected to sign with Atlanta tomorrow.

I think that was the whole reason to resign him; with Urlacher's issues with his neck and back we don't know how effective he will be come next year. Briggs probably will step up as our best linebacker next year as Urlacher fades away (I hope this is not the case!)

Didn't Hutchinson get that title last year? Wow, back to back years an offensive lineman gets a humongous deal! I was just reading yesterday that some no namer defensive tackle from the raiders just got the biggest contract ever for his position.

Maybe a wee bit premature? We haven't gotten through free agency yet and there is still the draft. Minnesota overpaid for Berrian, there was nothing we could do, he isn't that good anyways for that kind of money IMO.

He is the replacement for the Williamson trade I presume.. A better player at that I might add.

Kind of weird considering their defense is the main problem. Now they have three legit WR's in Edwards, Winslow, and Stallworth oh my!

good bye Berrian, it'll be fun watching you get owned by Peanut twice a season now!

Yeah, he measured in at 6'5 and 3/4 w/o shoes so he'd probably be playing at 6'7 which is unbelievable for a wide receiver. I remember him killing the Illini for 2 years, I want him on this team. I'm saying screw offensive lineman in the first round, you can find a guy in the later rounds but I don't want to spend a draft pick on an OL when there are skill players that will help us get to the next level.
