They better not think they are going to be able to keep on the PS. He will have to be on the 53 man roster and I would want him over Simms. Peace http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/cs-08...0,3768131.story

Some solid news on the injury front.

The 2009 draft started today and we had the #1 overall pick. From everything you have heard about, what you expect is our biggest weakness, etc., who would you take and why?

About 1-1/2 months ago a lot of us were glowing and thinking the Bears could go 10-6 or 11-5. What are your thoughts now? I know my prediction is kind of low balling it, but right now my expectations are really low. @ IND~~~~~~~ L @ CAR~~~~~~~ L TB~~~~~~~~~ W PHI~~~~~~~~~ L @ Det~~~~~~~~ L @ ATL ~~~~~~~W Min~~~~~~~~~ L BYE ~~~~~~~~(W) Det~~~~~~~~~ W Ten~~~~~~~~~~L @ GB~~~~~~~~~L @ STL~~~~~~~~W @ Min~~~~~~~~ L Jax~~~~~~~~~ L NO~~~~~~~~~~ L GB~~~~~~~~~~L @ Hou~~~~~~~~ L ---------------------------------- 4-12 And if we finish 4-12, would the Bears management keep the staff intact, or will there be major changes?

Arrows Up Rashied Davis--great to see you back. Next time need to hang onto the other one so you can turn the hat trick. Kyle Orton--He looked like a real pro. Attacked the entire field--not just checkdowns. Offensive Line: Every one of 'em. It was very pleasing to see Beekman and St Clair caving down the left side on some running plays as well as bottling up the pass rush. Nice. Lloyd & Izzie: nice special teams plays. Love it. Mark Bradley: hmm...going to make it harder to cut him. Speaking of which... Danieal Manning: That was the best he's looked in a while on both ST and in defense. Mike Brown: He gave up a tuddie, and that hur…

I thought this was kinda high for a guy who has never eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards in a season. With Rodgers deal, they have a lot tied up in QB and WR.

Rapoport loses credibility with me calling it a big hire. Either he is serious, or joking and brilliant. Either way, we just improved by 2 games.

It’s being reported by Moon Mullin that the Bears would trade Jordan Howard and the #8 overall pick for Jarvis Landry, the #11 pick and a 3rd rounder. I actually like this. Howard doesn’t fit our new offensive scheme as he’s a terrible pass catcher. It’d also be nice to get a 3rd round pick. The downside is we’d need to sign Landry to a long term contract extension as he’s been tagged. I’m also not thrilled about dropping from 8 to 11. But this would take care of our most pressing need.

I don' know if he'll fall, but I'd be willing to give a 4th or 5th to move up and get courtland sutton... come on pace, knock it out of the park!! I thought for sure he'd be gone before rd 2...

Still some decent names. Some have medical risks Josh Sweat OLB Tim Settle DT Maurice Hurst DT De'Shawn Hand DE Quenton Meeks CB Duke Ejiofor DE Jaylen Hayes DE Tyrell Crosby OT Jamarco James OT DeSean Hamilton WR Equan St Brown WR Luke Falk QB

I would do it anyway. Their defense would be so good, possibly the best in the NFL with Mack.

Why does the day seem brighter today?

Would have been nice, but time to look for younger and cheaper...

He's here tonight and tomorrow which is interesting and I'm sure Jason is happy to see this. I expect somewhere in this trip he'll spend some time with Eddie Jackson. As a player I view him as better in coverage than Amos but not as good at tackling. HHCD had his fair share of coverage lapses too but he's a better playmaker when the ball is in the air. In that sense he always seemed to be more of a FS than SS and Jackson is not leaving that role. If Pagano wants multiple inside-the-numbers coverage options behind his blitz schemes he'll have them with HHCD, Jackson, Skrine, Roquan, Floyd, and Trevathan. What he's looking for in his next contract is hard to gue…

TE Burton-Shaheen-Ben B- Raymond I think Shaheen takes a step forward this season and Raymond ends up being our 3rd TE out the blocks. WR Robinson-Gabriel-Miller-Wims-Patterson-Ridley-Hall also we have on the roster Gentry- M.Hall-Williams-Lambert that may not last long. Ridley -route runner-Hall speed. RB-Cohen-Davis-Nall-Mizzell-Montgomery-Whyte-Patterson Now I hope Mizzell is finally gone for good. Whyte has big speed. Speed we now have. Cohen-Whyte-Gabreil-M Hall-E Hall-Patterson MT is going to have fun this year.
