Bearstalk

Can someone go on the suntimes web site and post a link to the 50 greatest Bears? I'm not savy enough to do this myself. Its some interesting names on there and one terrible ommission.

The most obvious pick is Chris Williams because he is basically guaranteed a starting position at left tackle unless he's injured or something. This is a good way to start building up a young offensive line, and you can't have enough good offensive lineman, everybody knows that. Depending on what they do with Benson, Forte will be an impact player for the Bears this season. Now I remember watching him play a little bit last year and I remember he had over a 300 yard game with like 4 or 5 touchdowns. I don't know much about his gamebreaking speed but he looks to me like a better version of Thomas Jones. He will push Cedric for a starting spot come training camp and I …

Fantatstic news. I can't be happier about the Bears finally getting someone signed. He's had injury concerns but should be a nice guy to have around to ensure that the Bears are able to ease Forte into his career. He is obviously returning very quickly from an ACL injury so I think our expectations should be to hope he is able to play in one preseason game and can work his way up to being a 10-15 carry a guy for the Bears by about the 3rd week of the season (which is just perfect cause that should help shelter Forte enough to prevent him from hitting some sort of rookie wall by week 12).

Stumbled upon the full game, gonna check it out to scout our guy JB....If anyone else is interested here's the link... http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id...p;v=dqt4wSL8zhc I'm taking notes and I'll share later for those who don't have 2 hours to spare lol. Only watching Bushrod. First Drive... - 4 Dub Teams - Beat by Aldon Smith twice - Pushed back solo on Smith - Held his own just twice in 9 Pass plays ----Saints put an extra lineman lined up at FB behind him...smart move. 2nd Drive... - Double team - Sack to Aldon Smith --- 3 and out 3rd Drive.... - 2 good solo stops vs Justin Smith ----Brees pick on 3rd down 4t…

I would say we still need to draft a DT, CB, OT, with the next two picks. Hope they can figure how to do that.

Bears trade up and snag my guy. Love his size/speed, bloodlines, cover skills, all of it. Finally a pick I really like. Any wrestling fans here will appreciate the drawn out Brock in the title.

Mark Konkol - who evidently is a old school reporter is indicating Nagy will coach his final game against the Lions. Will be fired after the game regardless of outcome. I can't believe this is true and if it is the case - you just do it (short week or not)...but if true, only the Bears could botch relieving its head coach this poorly.

Crazy what two weeks can do. After the GB game, this was a potential flex game that was going to move into primetime with potential playoffs implications (assuming we came in at 7-6 and MIN at 8-5). Well MIN is 8-5....... It is amazing that we could've been one game up on every other potential playoff team other than MIN and SEA (non-Division leaders) coming into this game at 7-6. Now we are 5-8 and playing for draft position. With very little to play for, it is hard for me to see a close game. MIN 27 - CHI 13

https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/...mock-draft-1-0/ 10. Chicago Bears: Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss The Bears need to improve their offensive line play, and Tunsil started to live up to his immense potential in limited time this year. He’s a smooth-moving left tackle prototype who graded at +11.3 in the run game, while surrendering only four pressures on 204 attempts. Im about all in on OLINE, OLINE and OLINE. Maybe one Tackle in FA and one Tackle in the draft.

very similar players. Feature back, Forte not as many years obviously, but is proven reliable. And also not coming off injury His new deal includes $13.5 Guaranteed. Signed a 4YR Ext in 2007 worth $28Mil approx $14 Guaranteed

Aaron Leming ‏@AaronLemingNFL 31s32 seconds ago Outside of Trevathan, the biggest name tied to the #Bears looks to be DL Akiem Hicks. Pace has history & will come much cheaper than Jackson.

Rumor out of Washington that Snyder is interested in Cutler and is considering swapping picks and sending us Kirk Cousins for Jay Cutler. I presume he is tired of drafting QB's and figures that would give the Skins a bit more stability. For us, Cousins is someone we could at least utilize a bit while we use the Redskins pick to draft a franchise QB (if think he is in this draft). Obviously no deal is going to be made now, but man that would be awesome!

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/...ag-olin-kreutz/ This bodes very poorly for week 1...

He made some horrible decisions today. This loss is on him completely. Peace

Today I am reading that we not only want to re-sign Rex, but that we are confident we will. What I do not understand is, why the hell would Rex want to come back? Even more questionable, why would Rex want to re-sign w/ us before FA begins. 1. Rex has been shredded by his own fans and media in Chicago. 2. The market this year for QBs is so bad, Rex would likely be the top of the heap. 3. We are not going to offer a long term deal, and thus Rex would be banking on having a great year then hitting FA hot, but, (a) While we all hope for better, we have not today improve the OL a bit, and have in fact created a pair of holes ( We have just sen…

As every draft, the picks do not line up with our expectations. Maybe it is having the NFL draft at our fingertips and running simulations and reading on prospects programs us to expect something different. Well it is now day 3 and we are half way through Round 4. Who do we want to finish this draft class? My wish list: OL Zach Tom, Jamaree Salyer, Cade May's, Kellen Deisch. DB Josh Jobe, Montaric Brown, Tariq Woolen WR Kahlil Shakir, Calvin Austin, Justyn Ross,

We've seen it day to day and year to year. The media is like the frog waiting to catch the next fly. It seems like no matter what channel you watch or starting you time into, the narrative is the same. They are irresponsibly reporting everything from politics to religion to racial matters every damn day. Why should it be so different when hearing about it Bears? The media, nation wide, has gone from "what the hell did the Bears do to Justin Fields? To, my God, I can't wait for the Caleb Williams era"! I watched ESPN , rolled my eyes and turned the channel. Watched GMFB and ditto. Our my headphones on to ride the stationary bike, ditto! I'm sick of it. That'…

george inferring to choosing candidates with "We" meaning ted phillips. talking about hiring consultants to find the GM with no time frame involved. oh well, so it goes

All the falcons needed was a field goal and he decides that his injury obliterated Defense is going to be the better tool even in a more difficult position disadvantage then their Special Teams on a routine play. The players made tons of mistakes throughout the game but they still brought him the lead with 11 seconds left. He was not tired or hurt when he made that mistake he was just dumb.
